PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for a State primary school.

ALL that piece of land containing 16.8 perches situated in the City of Auckland, and being Lot 147 of a subdivision of part Allotment 21, Section 8, Suburbs of Auckland. All certificate of title, Volume 589, folio 181, North Auckland Land Registry, limited as to parcels.

Appointments, Promotions, Extensions, Transfers, Resignations, and Retirements of Officers of the New Zealand Army
PURSUANT to section 35 of the Defence Act 1971, His Excellency the Governor-General has approved the following appointments, promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Army:
REGULAR FORCE
BRIGADERS' LIST
Brigadier Leslie Frederick Brooker, M.B.E., A.D.C., is posted to the Retired List with effect from 19 April 1975.
ROYAL REGIMENT OF N.Z. ARTILLERY Colonel Commandant Brigadier J. Burns, D.S.O., M.B.E., Retired List, is appointed Colonel Commandant, RNZA, vice Brigadier S. F. Catchpole, C.B.E., M.C., E.D., Reserve of Officers General List, with effect from 1 April 1975. Lieutenant-Colonel Peter William Frank Joplin, M.B.E., is posted to the Retired List with effect from 3 April 1975. Captain (temp. Major) R. J. Martin to be Major with seniority and effect from 9 December 1974.
Supernumerary List The engagement of Captain and Quartermaster P. R. R. Rutherford, M.B.E., is extended until 30 April 1977.
ROYAL N.Z. CORPS OF SIGNALS
Lieutenant Ross Alfred Dickinson is posted to the Retired List with effect from 2 March 1975. V14670 Warrant Officer Class II Grant Bennett Howard, Royal N.Z. Corps of Signals, is appointed to a commission in the rank of Lieutenant and Quartermaster with seniority and effect from 17 March 1975, and is re-engaged until retiring age for rank.
ROYAL N.Z. INFANTRY REGIMENT
The engagement of Major J. R. M. Barker is extended until 25 August 1976. Major E. Marr, E.D., is re-engaged until 21 June 1976. Captain and Quartermaster M. S. Ryan is transferred to the Supernumerary List on reaching retiring age for rank with effect from 29 March 1975 and his engagement is extended until 28 March 1976. Lieutenant (temp. Captain) W. A. Blair to be Captain with seniority from 21 December 1972 and effect from 14 February 1975.
Supernumerary List The engagement of Major J. Pearson is extended until 28 July 1976.
THE CORPS OF ROYAL N.Z. ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL ENGINEERS
Lieutenant (temp. Captain) and Quartermaster P. K. Rose is transferred to the Supernumerary List and his engagement is extended until 23 October 1975. Lieutenant and Quartermaster R. Moore to be temp. Captain and Quartermaster with effect from 28 July 1974. Lieutenant (temp. Captain) F. S. Smith is re-engaged until retiring age for rank with effect from 21 March 1975. Lieutenant D. R. Abbott to be temp. Captain with effect from 22 February 1975.
ROYAL N.Z. DENTAL CORPS
Captain J. T. Papaconstantinou, B.D.S., to be temp. Major with effect from 10 February 1975. Captain D. J. McAllister, B.D.S.: the notice published in the Gazette, 17 December 1973, No. 119, p. 2720, is cancelled and the following substituted: "Captain D. J. McAllister, B.D.S., is re-engaged on a Special Dental Engagement until 18 September 1975."
ROYAL N.Z. NURSING CORPS
Matron C. J. Marquand is re-engaged until retiring age for rank. Charge Sister E. V. Wallace is re-engaged until 10 May 1976.
N.Z. WOMEN'S ROYAL ARMY CORPS
Lieutenant S. M. Hand is re-engaged until 4 May 1976.
TERRITORIAL FORCE
ROYAL REGIMENT OF N.Z. ARTILLERY 3rd Field Regiment, RNZA Lieutenant D. M. Hindle to be temp. Captain with effect from 1 March 1975. 16th Field Regiment, RNZA Lieutenant (temp. Captain) J. G. Mitchelson to be Captain with seniority and effect from 10 September 1974. 2nd Lieutenant Russell Andrew Barker resigns his commission with effect from 10 November 1974.
ROYAL N.Z. ARMOURED CORPS 1st Squadron, New Zealand Scottish, RNZAC Captain (temp. Major) W. A. Adam, E.D., is re-engaged until 25 December 1976.
THE CORPS OF ROYAL N.Z. ENGINEERS 3rd Field Squadron, RNZE 2nd Lieutenant Christopher Hugh Ramsay resigns his commission with effect from 1 March 1975.
ROYAL N.Z. INFANTRY REGIMENT 4th Battalion (Otago and Southland), RNZIR Major T. G. Leighs, E.D., to be Lieutenant-Colonel with seniority and effect from 1 April 1975.
ROYAL N.Z. ARMY SERVICE CORPS 1st Army Air Supply Organisation, RNZASC 2nd Lieutenant R. H. Denmead to be Lieutenant with seniority from 1 March 1974 and effect from 1 March 1975. The commission of 2nd Lieutenant J. G. Coulam is confirmed with effect from 8 February 1975. 5th Transport Company, RNZASC 2nd Lieutenant R. H. Biel, DIP.TCHG., to be Lieutenant with seniority and effect from 1 April 1975.
ROYAL N.Z. ARMY MEDICAL CORPS 1st Field Ambulance, RNZAMC John Charles Mackie is appointed to a commission in the rank of 2nd Lieutenant (on prob.) with effect from 19 March 1975. 9th Mobile Bacteriological Laboratory, RNZAMC Captain G. B. Bingham: the notice published in the Gazette, 13 March 1975, No. 21, p. 483, is cancelled and the following substituted: "Captain G. B. Simpson, M.P.S. (non med.), to be temp. Major with effect from 25 November 1974."
