Pursuant to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject as to the land first described, to the agreements as to fencing contained in transfers 269910 and 512762 and subject, as to the land secondly described, to the fencing agreements contained in transfers 269910 and 514267 and subject, as to the land thirdly described, to the fencing agreements contained in transfers 360883 and 522316 and subject, as to the land fourthly described, to the fencing agreements contained in transfers 344273 and 608111 and to the building restriction contained in K. 66045 and subject, as to the land fifthly described, to the fencing agreement contained in transfer 323942 and subject, as to the land sixthly described, to the agreement as to fencing contained in transfer 323942 and to the building-line restriction in K. 82174, North Auckland Land Registry, for state housing purposes from and after the 8th day of May 1975.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block VIII, Pohue Survey District, Hawke's Bay County, for a Metal Pit

Notice is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for a metal pit the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land to be used for the winning of metal to be used in the reconstruction and strengthening and thereafter, the maintenance of State Highway 5, and in the construction of any deviation thereof; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post offices at Napier and Te Pohue and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should if they have any objection to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board at Wellington; and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
