Members of New Zealand Ports Authority Reappointed

PURSUANT to section 4 of the New Zealand Ports Authority Act 1968, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to reappoint Hon. John Kenneth McAlpine, of Christchurch, and Mr Alan Thomas Gandell, of Wellington

to be members of the New Zealand Ports Authority for a term of 3 years from 27 April 1975, and has also reappointed the Hon. John Kenneth McAlpine to be the Chairman of the aforesaid authority.

Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work (Additional Land for the Purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway) at Hastings and Not Now Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 28th day of April 1975.
