Appointment of Honorary Litter Prevention Officers

Pursuant to section 5 (1) of the Litter Act 1968, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby appoints the persons listed in the Schedule hereto, to be litter prevention officers in an honorary capacity and to exercise their duties in respect of public places throughout New Zealand.

Derek Lowe Esquire, and Noel Liam Bradford, Esquire Stipendiary Magistrates, to be Justices of the Peace.

Port Conciliation Committee for the Port of Timaru Appointed

Pursuant to the Waterfront Industry Act 1953, the Minister of Labour hereby appoints the following persons to be the Port Conciliation Committee for the port of Timaru for the term of 1 year expiring on the 31st day of March 1976.

Desmond John Sullivan, Esquire Stipendiary Magistrate, of Wellington, to be Chairman of the Arohata Borstal Parole Board for a period of 3 years on and from 26 March 1975.
