Pursuant to the Fire Services Act 1972, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

1. This order shall come into force on the first day of April 1975.

2. The area outlined in red on the plan deposited with the Fire Services Commission by the Nelson Fire Board on 28 November 1974, comprising the various parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto, shall be included in the Nelson United Urban Fire District.

Pursuant to the Local Government Act 1974 and the Local Government Commission Act 1967 (to the extent that it continues in force in relation to this Order), His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following Order.

ORDER

1. This Order shall come into force on 1 April 1975.

2. The areas described in the Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the district of Vincent County and included in the district of Alexandra Borough.

SCHEDULE

Firstly, all that area in the Otago Land District, Vincent County, containing 107 hectares, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the easternmost corner of Section 84, Block I, Fraser Survey District, and proceeding generally south-westerly and north-westerly along the generally south-eastern and south-western boundaries of that section to Chapman Road; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern side of that road to the north-western corner of Part Section 164, Block I, Fraser Survey District; thence along a right line on a bearing of 29° 32' 10" to the north-eastern side of Earnscleugh Road; thence south-easterly, north-easterly, and north-westerly along the south-western, south-eastern, and north-eastern boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 10901, to the south-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 9173; thence north-easterly and generally north-westerly along the south-eastern and generally north-eastern boundaries of that lot to the south-eastern boundary of Part Section 112, Block I, Fraser Survey District; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of that section, and its production to the middle of the Clutha River; thence generally north-westerly along the middle of that river to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of the Town of Alexandra; thence north-easterly along the production of that boundary to the left bank of the Clutha River; thence generally south-easterly along that left bank to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 179, Block I, Fraser Survey District; thence south-westerly to and along that boundary to the northern side of Earnscleugh Road; thence generally westerly along the northern side of that road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 10335; thence south-easterly along a right line to the northernmost corner of that lot; thence generally south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of that Lot 1 to the north-eastern corner of Section 84, Block I, Fraser Survey District; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of that section to the point of commencement.

Secondly, all that area in the Otago Land District, Vincent County, containing 75 hectares, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the southernmost corner of Section 95, Block VII, Leaning Rock Survey District, and proceeding north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of that section and Sections 80 and 90 to the easternmost corner of Section 90, aforesaid; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of that section to the westernmost corner of Section 117; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundary of that section to the south-western side of Gilligans Gully Road; thence generally south-easterly along the generally south-western side of that road and its production across No. 85 State Highway to the north-western boundary of Section 86, Block IX; thence north-easterly, south-easterly, and south-westerly along the north-western, north-eastern, and south-eastern boundaries of that section and the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 87 and 133, Block IX and Section 112, Block VII, to the northernmost corner of Section 113; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of that section and its production across the Manuherika River and the Otago Central Railway to the north-western side of Tucker Hill Road, Block VI, Cairnhill Survey District; thence generally
