MASTERTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE of intention to take land for service lane in Block I, Otahoua Survey District, in the Borough of Masterton:
NOTICE is hereby given that the Masterton Borough Council proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for service lane; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land required to be taken is deposited in the borough office at Masterton and is there open for inspection during normal office hours.
All persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection, not being any objection to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth such objection in writing and send the same within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board at Wellington. If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires. Each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of land situated in Block I, Otahoua Survey District, described as follows:

86 Part Section 12 of the Town of Masterton, being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 44, folio 256 (Wellington Registry), marked “A” on plan.
88 Part Section 12 of the Town of Masterton, being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 471, folio 226 (Wellington Registry), marked “B” on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan dated the 24th day of January 1975 prepared by Terrence Patrick Flynn, of Masterton, registered surveyor, deposited in the Office of the Masterton Borough Council. The said land marked “A” on plan runs in a generally south-eastern direction parallel with and to the southern side of the service lane adjacent to the Hire Centre premises at 87 Chapel Street. The said land marked “B” extends in a generally north-eastern direction from the end of the service lane which runs in from Jackson Street between the rear of the Regent Theatre building complex and the eastern side of the T.A.B. premises in Jackson Street.
