of March 1975
Present:
THE HON. R. J. TIZARD PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Local Government Act 1974 and the Local

the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following
Order.

ORDER

  1. This Order shall come into effect on 1 April 1975.

  2. The Hauraki Plains West Drainage Board, the Hauraki
United Drainage Board, and the Hauraki South Drainage
Board (hereinafter referred to as the "said boards") are
hereby dissolved and the districts of the said boards are
    hereby abolished.

references to a "county council" and to "drainage committee members" respectively.

  7. The classifications of land for rating purposes made by
the said boards pursuant to section 33 of the Land Drainage
Act 1908 and existing at the date of implementation of this
scheme shall be the classifications of lands for the purposes
of sections 232 and 232A of the Counties Act 1956 as if
they had been made pursuant to the said sections.

  8. The said council may apply with the necessary modifications the provisions of section 13 of the Land Drainage
Amendment Act 1922 as if references therein to a "Board"
were references to a "County Council".

of each of the said board are hereby transferred to the
Hauraki Plains County Council and shall be preserved in
