Declaring Land in Hawke's Bay Land District, Vested in the
Hawke's Bay Education Board as a Site for a School, to
be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area
vested in the Hawke's Bay Education Board as a site for a
school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and
discharged from every education trust affecting the same, but
subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting
the same at the date hereof.
SCHEDULE
Hawke's Bay Land District-Havelock North Borough
Town Sections 20, 21, 65, 66, 67, and 76, Havelock: area,
1.2138 hectares, more or less.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 27th day of February 1975.

Hauraki United Drainage Board, and the Hauraki South
Drainage Board, and the Constitution of These Former
Districts as Drainage Districts of the Hauraki Plains County

ORDER IN COUNCIL

THE HON. R. J. TIZARD PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Local Government Act 1974 and the Local
Government Commission Act 1967 (to the extent that it
continues in force in relation to this Order), His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following
Order.
ORDER
-
This Order shall come into effect on 1 April 1975.
-
The Hauraki Plains West Drainage Board, the Hauraki
United Drainage Board, and the Hauraki South Drainage
Board (hereinafter referred to as the "said boards") are
hereby dissolved and the districts of the said boards are
hereby abolished. -
The districts of the former said boards are hereby constituted separate drainage districts of the Hauraki Plains
County as if they had been so constituted under the provisions
of Part XVI of the Counties Act 1956. The County Drainage
Districts shall have the names Hauraki West Drainage District,
Hauraki United Drainage District, and Hauraki South Drainage -
Section 151 (4) of the Local Government Act 1974
shall apply in respect of the drainage committees as if every
reference in that section to a district community council
were a reference to a drainage committee. -
It shall be competent for the said council and for the
drainage committee for the Hauraki South Drainage District
to exercise their powers and functions (including, in the case
of the said council, the power to make and levy rates for
drainage purposes) in respect of the whole of that district,
notwithstanding that part of the district lies outside the
boundaries of Hauraki County. -
For the purposes of determining representation within
such subdivisions of drainage districts as the said council
may from time to time make under the provisions of section
229 of the Counties Act 1956, the said council may apply
with any necessary modifications the provisions of sections
2 and 3 of the Land Drainage Amendment Act 1920 as if
references therein to a "Board" and to "Trustees" were
references to a "county council" and to "drainage committee members" respectively. -
The classifications of land for rating purposes made by
the said boards pursuant to section 33 of the Land Drainage
Act 1908 and existing at the date of implementation of this
scheme shall be the classifications of lands for the purposes
of sections 232 and 232A of the Counties Act 1956 as if
they had been made pursuant to the said sections. -
The said council may apply with the necessary modifications the provisions of section 13 of the Land Drainage
Amendment Act 1922 as if references therein to a "Board"
were references to a "County Council". -
All assets and liabilities including any special accounts
of each of the said board are hereby transferred to the
Hauraki Plains County Council and shall be preserved in
separate accounts to be established by the said council and
administered by the appropriate drainage committee of that
council.

Pursuant to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
makes the following Order.
ORDER
- This Order may be cited as the Northern Southland
Pest Destruction District Order 1975. - The boundaries of the Northern Southland Pest Destruction District, which was constituted by Order in Council
on the 9th day of October 1972*, are hereby redefined and,
as from the commencement of this Order, the boundaries
of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule
hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE NORTHERN SOUTHLAND PEST DESTRUCTION
DISTRICT
All that area in the Counties of Wallace and Southland,
Southland Land District, containing an estimated area 104 550
hectares, more or less, inclusive of roads, railways, and
streams and bounded as follows:
Commencing at a point being the intersection of the production of the southern side of Orion Street, Town of Lumsden,
and the left bank of the Oreti River; thence proceeding
north-westerly generally along the aforesaid left bank to a
point in line with the north-westerly boundary of Section 16,
Block VII, Centre Hill Survey District; thence south-westerly
along the production of that boundary to the right bank
of the Oreti River; thence northerly along the aforesaid
right bank to a point due west of the intersection of the
left bank of the Oreti River and the left bank of the Ashton
Burn; thence due east to the aforementioned point; thence
