Cancellation of a Licence to Use Water for the Purpose of Generating Electricity


Pursuant to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity, hereby cancels a licence dated the 15th day of June 1960* authorising Percy Diserens and Ralph Diserens, storekeepers, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity.

The Traffic (Waitara Borough) Notice No. 1, 1975


Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE
  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waitara Borough) Notice No. 1, 1975.
  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
  3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
  4. The Traffic (Waitara Borough) Notice No. 1, 1972, dated the 12th day of December 1972† under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956* which relates to Waitara Borough, is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waitara Borough:

No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth): from the north-eastern boundary of Waitara Borough to a point 720 metres measured south-westerly generally along the said State highway from the said boundary.
Princess Street: from the south-eastern boundary of Waitara Borough to a point 240 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said street from No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth).


SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waitara Borough:

No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth): from Calgher Avenue to a point 480 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from the said avenue.
Princess Street: from a point 240 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said street from No. 3 State highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth), to a point 240 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said street from Joll Street.

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962 the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE
  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Blenheim Borough and Marlborough County) Notice No. 1, 1975.
  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
  3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
  4. The roads specified in the Third Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
  5. The Traffic (Marlborough County) Notice No. 1, 1969, dated 15 September 1969†, and the Traffic (Marlborough County) Notice No. 1, 1970, dated 9 December 1970† under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, and the notice dated 14 July 1960§ under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, which relate to roads situated within Marlborough County adjacent to Blenheim Borough are hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Marlborough County adjacent to Blenheim Borough:

Adams Lane.
Bary Street.
Battys Road: from the southern boundary of Blenheim Borough to the northern bank of the Yelverton Stream, and from a point 40 metres measured northerly generally along the said road from New Renwick Road to the southern termination of Battys Road.
Colemans Road.
David Street: from Severne Street to Battys Road.
New Renwick Road: from the western boundary of Blenheim Borough to a point 40 metres measured westerly generally along the said road from Battys Road.
Murphys Road.
Robinson Street: from Waipuna Street to Fell Street.
Roseneath Lane.
Severne Street.
Waikura Street.
Waipuna Street.
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from the north-eastern boundary of Blenheim Borough to a point 180 metres measured north-easterly generally along the State highway from the said boundary.

SITUATED with Marlborough County adjacent to Blenheim Borough:

Old Renwick Road: from a point 40 metres measured westerly generally along the said road from Murphys Road, to Waipuna Street.
