Proclaiming an Area in the City of Christchurch to be a Reclamation Area Under Part II of the Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement Act 1945

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 19 of the Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement Act 1945, I Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim the land defined in the Schedule hereto to be a reclamation area under Part II of the said Act; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 13th day of February 1975.

to be a member of the New Zealand Historic Places Trust, as the representative of the Maori race, for a term of office expiring on 31 March 1975.

His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the appointment pursuant to section 15 (2) of the Maori Purposes Act 1938, of Turuki Pere as a new trustee to the Wi Pere Trust, by Order in Council dated the 21st day of October 1968, and published in New Zealand Gazette, 31 October 1968, No. 69, page 2000, was made to fill a vacancy caused by the resignation of Rongowhakaata Halbert from the position of trustee.

PURSUANT to the Trustee Savings Banks Act 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Wellington Savings Bank (Change of Name) Order 1975.
(2) This order shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette.
- Change of name—(1) The Wellington District Savings Bank (which was constituted by the Wellington Savings Bank Order 1964*) shall hereinafter be called the Wellington Savings Bank.
(2) The savings bank referred to in subclause (1) of this clause is hereby declared to be the same savings bank as existed immediately before the commencement of this order under the name then applicable.
(3) The provisions of subsections (3), (4), and (5) of section 2 of the Trustee Savings Banks Amendment Act 1964 shall, with the necessary modifications, apply with respect to the savings bank referred to in subclause (1) of this clause as if it were a savings bank referred to in those subsections.
- Revocations—The Trustee Savings Banks (Changes of Names) Order 1964† and the Trustee Savings Banks (Changes of Names) Order 1964, Amendment No. 2‡ are hereby consequentially revoked.
