Cancellation of a Licence to Use Water for the Purpose of Generating Electricity

PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity, with the consent of the licensee, hereby cancels a licence dated the 22nd day of April 1959 authorising William George Gorton Cuddon, engineer, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity.

Approved Course of Traffic Instruction

PURSUANT to section 68 (1). of the Transport Act 1962, the Driver Re-education Course (D.R.C.) operated by the Salvation Army Bridge Programme is hereby approved as a course of traffic instruction for the purposes of the said section 68 (1).

New Zealand - Australia Free Trade Agreement

PURSUANT to Article 3 of the New Zealand - Australia Free Trade Agreement Act 1965, the products listed in the following Schedule have been nominated by New Zealand and Australia for addition to Schedule A.
Prior to formal inclusion in Schedule A, interested persons or firms are invited to make representations in support of or against any nominated product or products. The representations should be forwarded to the Secretary, Department of Trade and Industry, Private Bag, Wellington, not later than 2 May 1975 and the appropriate inquiries will be conducted. The companies making such representations will be advised of the nature of the inquiries and the form in which submissions should be lodged. In those cases where the inquiries result in a decision to include the goods in Schedule A, and where the Australian Government is in agreement, such inclusion will be affected at the earliest practicable date.
Products on which no representations against inclusion in Schedule A have been received by 2 May 1975 will be added to the Schedule on 1 July 1975, provided the Australian Government agrees.
In some cases, it may be agreed between the Australian and New Zealand Governments to attach special conditions to the inclusion of a product in Schedule A.
