  1. Clause 2 of the principal order is hereby amended by
    revoking the year “1972” wherever it appears and substituting the year “1968”.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Hydatids Act 1968, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

O R D E R

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Central Taranaki Hydatids Control District Order 1975.

(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

  1. The areas comprising the Counties of Stratford and Eltham, and the Boroughs of Stratford and Eltham as from time to time constituted are hereby declared to be united to form a hydatids control district to be called the Central Taranaki Hydatids Control District.

  2. The Central Taranaki Hydatids Control Committee is hereby appointed the Hydatids Control Authority for the Central Taranaki Hydatids Control District.

Appointing a Member on the Water Resources Council

DENIS BLUNDELL, Governor-General

PURSUANT to section 7 of the Water and Soil Conservation Act 1967, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint Malcolm Leitch Cameron an officer of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries to be a member of the Water Resources Council from and after the 1st day of January 1975.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 19th day of February 1975.

Notifying the Appointment of Members of the Electricians Registration Board

THE Minister of Electricity hereby notifies the appointment of :
Allan William Gooder, C.B.E., and Jack James as members of the Electricians Registration Board for the purpose of the Electricians Act 1952.

Appointment of Temporary Judge of the Supreme Court

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council in the name and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen has been pleased to appoint

Edward Jonathan Somers, Esquire, Q.C. of Christchurch, to be a temporary Judge of the Supreme Court for a period of 12 months from and inclusive of the 18th day of December 1974.

Appointment of Chairman of the Crimes Compensation Tribunal

Pursuant to section 4 of the Criminal Injuries Compensation Act 1963, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint Archibald Patrick Blair, Esq., of Wellington, Judge of the Compensation Court, to be Chairman of the Crimes Compensation Tribunal.

Appointment of Chairman to Board of Examiners Constituted Under the Boilers, Lifts, and Cranes Act 1950

Pursuant to section 40 of the Boilers, Lifts, and Cranes Act 1950, the Minister of Transport hereby appoints John Anderson, Chief Engineer Surveyor, of the Marine Division of the Ministry of Transport, to be the Chairman of the Board of Examiners constituted under the Boilers, Lifts, and Cranes Act 1950.
