2. Bank Premises—The principal order is hereby amended
by adding the following clause:
“13. Notwithstanding anything in the proviso to section 28
of the Act, the Bank may, with the prior consent in writing
of the Minister of Finance, incur expenditure under that
section in excess of the amount by which the amount standing
to the credit of the Bank’s Reserve fund for the time being
exceeds the value of the bank premises as appearing in
the books of the Bank, by the amount specified by the
Minister in his consent.”

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 175 (3) and subject to sections 176 to
182 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-
General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council, hereby authorises the Riverton Harbour
Board to reclaim from the Jacobs River Estuary, Riverton,
areas of approximately 3972 square metres of Crown land
and 323 square metres of Riverton Harbour Board Endow-
ment Land as shown on plan M.D. 15470 and deposited
in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.

PURSUANT to section 175 (2) and subject to section 176 to
182 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-
General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council, hereby authorises the Manukau City
Council to reclaim from the bed of the Tamaki River an
area of 2070 square metres, more or less, of Crown land
as shown edged red on plan M.D. 15485 and deposited in
the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.

Vesting Reclaimed Land in the City of Waitemata

THE HON. DR A. M. FINLAY PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 175B (2) of the Harbours Act 1950,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
vests in the Waitemata City Council the land described in
the Schedule hereto, which land was authorised for reclama-
tion by Order in Council of 7 October 1968
, such land
to be vested as a recreation reserve pursuant to the Reserves-
and Domains Act 1953.
SCHEDULE

  1. All that piece of reclaimed land at Taikata Creek, situated
    in Block X, Waitemata Survey District, containing 1652
    square metres as shown marked A on plan S.O. 47952.
  2. All that piece of reclaimed land at Taikate Creek, situated
    in Block X, Waitemata Survey District, containing 517 square
    metres as shown marked B on plan S.O. 47952.
    The District Land Registrar is hereby authorised to make
    such entries in his Register as are necessary to give effect
    to this Order.

    Appointing a Member of the Engineering Associates Registration Board and His Deputy
    PURSUANT to the Engineering Associates Registration Act
    1961, the Minister of Works and Development hereby appoints
    Harold Bernard Martin
    of Lower Hutt, personnel officer, to be a member of the
    Engineering Associates Registration Board, and
    Cyril John Suckling
    of Christchurch, supply engineer, as his deputy (on the
    nomination of the New Zealand Institute of Electricians
    Incorporated) from and after the 22nd day of February 1975.

    Appointment of Maritime Appeal Authority
    PURSUANT to section 15E (3) of the Shipping and Seamen
    Act 1952 (as substituted by section 2 of the Shipping and
    Seamen Amendment Act 1971), after consultation with the
    Minister of Justice I hereby appoint
    Ian Hay
    Stipendiary Magistrate, to be the Maritime Appeal Authority
    for a term of 3 years from the date hereof.

    Lake Sumner State Forest Park Advisory Committee
    PURSUANT to regulations 3 and 6 of the State Forest Park
    Regulations 1969, the Minister of Forests hereby notifies

    and initial terms of appointment are as follows:

    to be a member of the Appeal Board set up in connection
    with an appeal by Donald Macaulay Crow against the
    decision of the Otago Harbour Board not to appoint him to
    the position of Deputy Harbourmaster.
