  1. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, to the intent that a person driving any motor vehicle thereon at any time during the period commencing on the Wednesday following Easter and ending with the 30th day of November each year shall be subject to the speed limitation fixed by the said regulation.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Bay of Islands County at Haruru Falls:

Blackbridge-Paihia Road: from Haruru Falls Road to a point 600 metres measured easterly generally along Blackbridge-Paihia Road from Haruru Falls Road.

The Traffic (Taupo County) Notice No. 4, 1975

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Taupo County) Notice No. 4, 1975.

  2. The area specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, to the intent that a person driving any motor vehicle thereon at any time during the period commencing with the 1st day of December in each year and ending with the Tuesday following Easter each year shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of fifty-kilometres-an-hour fixed by the said section.

  3. The area specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, to the intent that a person driving any motor vehicle thereon at any time during the period commencing with the Wednesday following Easter each year and ending with the 30th day of November, shall be subject to the speed limitation fixed by the said regulation.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED in Taupo County at Kinloch:

All that area at Kinloch bounded by a line commencing at a point on the eastern side of Kinloch Road 160 metres measured northerly generally along the said road from Marina Terrace; thence due west by a right line to the eastern side of the Whangamata Stream; thence south-westerly generally to the shore of the Whangamata Stream; thence south-easterly generally along the shore of Lake Taupo to a point opposite the south-eastern end of Keitha Place; thence north-easterly generally by a right line to the south-eastern end of Keitha Place; thence northerly generally by a right line to the north-eastern end of Pearce Place; thence northerly generally by a right line to the eastern end of Kenrigg Road; thence north-westerly generally by a right line to the eastern end of Irwin Place; thence northerly generally by a right line to the commencing point.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED in Taupo County at Kinloch:

SITUATED within Bay of Islands County at Waipapa:

No. 10 State Highway (Pakaraka-Awanui via Mangonui): from a point 180 metres measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Waipapa Road to a point 400 metres measured northerly generally along the said State highway from Waipapa Road.
