The Motor Launch (Lake Camp) Notice 1975—Ashburton County Council
PURSUANT to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962*, I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport hereby give the following notice:
-
(a) This notice may be cited as the Motor Launch (Lake Camp) Notice 1975.
(b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette, and shall remain in force until revoked by further notice in the Gazette. -
Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, regulations 11 and 12 of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 shall not apply with respect to the area described in the First Schedule hereto, as also shown on plan M.D. 15711.

Notice is hereby given that the Motor Launch (Lake Camp) Notice 1973—Ashburton County Council† is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
- All that area of water at the western end of Lake Camp situated in Block VI, Tripp Survey District, bounded within lines as follows:
(a) Commencing at a marker post situated at a point on the edge of the lake bearing 152° distant 72 m from the southern side of the cattle stop on the Gorge Road; thence out into the lake on a bearing of 108°.
(b) Commencing at a marker post situated at a point on the edge of the lake bearing 183° distant 27 m from the stile in a fence at the southern end of a plantation; thence out into the lake on a bearing of 110°.
- All that area of water at the southern side of Lake Camp situated in Block VI, Tripp Survey District, bounded within lines as follows:
(a) Commencing at a marker post situated at a point on the edge of the lake bearing 282° distant 80 m from a fence post at the north-west corner of a plantation; thence out into the lake on a bearing of 019°.
(b) Commencing at a marker post situated at a point on the edge of the lake bearing 132° distant 75 m from a fence post at the north-east corner of a plantation; thence out into the lake on a bearing of 024°.
- All that area of water at the south-eastern end of Lake Camp situated in Block VI, Tripp Survey District, bounded within lines as follows:
(a) Commencing at a marker post situated at a point on the southern edge of the lake bearing 250° distant 360 m from the southern side of the Clearwater Aquatic Club House; thence out into the lake on a bearing of 008°.
(b) Commencing at a marker post situated at a point on the edge of the lake bearing 321° distant 28 m from the western corner of the Clearwater Aquatic Club House; thence out into the lake on a bearing of 289°.
- All the remaining waters of the lake not within 50 m of any part of the lakeshore.
SECOND SCHEDULE
The access lanes shall be marked as follows:
-
Two 2.5 m transit posts with a distance of not less than 3 m or more than 6 m between and painted with 300 mm bright orange and black bands shall be erected on land in line with each side of each access lane, the first post being sited on the lake margin at normal lake level.

On each side of the transit posts sited on the lake margin at normal lake level there shall be fastened in line with the sides of each access lane a noticeboard measuring not less than 800 mm x 600 mm painted bright orange with black lettering in the following form:
“NOTICE
MOTOR LAUNCH REGULATIONS 1962
Access lane through which motor launches and water skiers may pass at speeds greater than 5 miles per hour between the hours of 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.
BATHERS KEEP OUT”.
- A set of two marker buoys, either bell, drum, or spherical shaped painted bright orange with a vertical black strip, shall be moored 25 m apart in line with each set of transit posts, the first buoy being 25 m from the lake margin at normal lake level.

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds Within the Borough of Morrinsville (No. 1305, Ag. 12/10/4/1)
PURSUANT to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries under the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries Act 1953 for the purposes of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the following Special Order, made by the Morrinsville Borough Council on the 18th day of November 1975 is hereby published.
SPECIAL ORDER
“THAT the Morrinsville Borough Council acting in pursuance of the powers conferred on it by section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 hereby resolves by way of Special Order to declare the following plants to be noxious weeds within the Borough of Morrinsville.
SCHEDULE
Woolly nightshade (Xanthium spinosum).
Waterfern (Salvinia, all species).”
