Redefinition of the Boundaries of the Hawkdun Pest Destruction District (No. 1296 Ag. 6/13/2/6)

At the Government House at Wellington this 24th day of November 1975
Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council, pursuant to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Redefinition of the Boundaries of the Hawkdun Pest Destruction District Order 1975.

  2. The boundaries of the Hawkdun Pest Destruction District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 25th day of March 1974*, are hereby redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE HAWKDUN PEST DESTRUCTION DISTRICT
All that area in the Otago Land District, Maniototo, Vincent, and Waitaki Counties, containing 155 000 hectares, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at Trig. I (Mount Ida) on the eastern boundary of the Idaburn Survey District and proceeding generally south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of part Run 227D to the southernmost corner of that run, Block III; thence south-westerly along a right line to the south-western corner of Section 11; thence again south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of that section and Blocks I, XVIII, and XVII, Blackstone Survey District, and Block VI, Poolburn Survey District, to the southernmost corner of Section 2, Block VI aforesaid; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of that section to the easternmost corner of Section 5; thence generally south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of that section and Sections 1 and 4, Block VII, to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence southerly along a right line to the easternmost corner of Section 3; thence generally southerly along the south-eastern boundaries of that section, Run 261 L, Section 1, Block VIII, Run 261N and Run 261 "O", to the southernmost corner of Run 261 "O", Block II, Manorside Survey District; thence south-westerly along a right line to the easternmost corner of Run 261P; thence south-westerly again along the south-eastern boundary of that run and the north-western boundary of Run 261Q to the south-western boundary of Old Dunstan Road, Block V, Manorside Survey District; thence generally north-westerly along the generally south-western side of that road to the south-eastern side of Aston's Road; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern side of that road and Moa Creek School Road and north-westerly along the south-western side of the said Moa Creek School Road and its production to the north-western side of Poolburn - Moa Creek Road; thence north-easterly along the north-western side of that road to the south-western side of Ida Valley-Omakau Road, Block XVI, Tiger Hill Survey District; thence north-westerly along the south-western side of that road and its production to the north-western side of State Highway No. 85; thence north-easterly along the north-eastern side of that highway to the middle of Lauder Creek, Block V, Lauder Survey District; thence generally north-easterly and north-westerly along the middle of that creek to the eastern boundary of Run 223M, Block X, Lauder Survey District; thence northerly and generally north-westerly along the eastern and north-eastern boundaries of that run to its northernmost corner; thence generally north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of Runs 226C, 226B, 226A, and 226 and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of Dunstan Creek, Block IX, St. Bathans Survey District; thence generally north-westerly along the middle of that creek to a point in line with the north-western boundary of part Run 583; thence north-easterly to and along the north-western boundary of that run to Trig. Station "AA", Mount St. Bathans; thence generally northerly along the western boundary of Run 201F to the northernmost corner of that run; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of the said Run 201F and its production to the middle of an unnamed road; thence south-westerly along that middle line to a point in line with the generally northern boundary of Run 684, Hawkdun Survey District; thence generally easterly and north-easterly to and along the generally northern and north-western boundaries of that Run 684 to the western side of the "Chip-ped Track Road"; thence south-easterly along a right line to and along the north-eastern boundary of the said Run 684 to the generally western boundary of part Run 322E, Hawkdun Survey District; thence north-easterly along a right line to Trig. "E", Hawkdun Survey District, on the generally eastern boundary of the said Run 322E; thence generally southerly along the generally eastern boundaries of that run and Run 582 to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned run; thence generally north-easterly along the generally north-western boundary of Run 227 and its production to the middle of Clear Stream; thence generally south-easterly and north-easterly along the middle of Clear Stream to the northern-most corner of Run 227C; thence southerly and south-westerly along the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of that run to the summit of the Hawkdun Range; thence generally south-easterly along the summit of that range to the point of commencement.

Consent to the Establishment and Maintenance of an Airport by the Nelson City Council, the Motueka Borough Council, the Richmond Borough Council, the Waimea County Council, and the Golden Bay County Council

At the Government House at Wellington this 17th day of November 1975
Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council, pursuant to section 3 of the Airport Authorities Act 1966, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Nelson Regional Airport Authority Establishment Order 1975.

  2. Consent is hereby given to the establishment, improvement, maintenance, operation, and management of an airport and to the acquisition of land for any such purpose by the City of Nelson, the Borough of Motueka, the Borough of Richmond, the County of Waimea, and the County of Golden Bay on the land described in the Schedule hereto and known as Nelson Airport.

  3. The Nelson Combined Airport Authority Establishment Order 1975 published in the Gazette of 26 June 1975, No. 53, at p. 1403 is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the Nelson Land District containing 135.775325 hectares, more or less, situated in Block III, Waimea Survey District, as the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. ALX 7710 held in the office of the Civil Aviation Division of the Ministry of Transport, Wellington.

Appointment of Member of the Government Insurance Investment Board

At the Government House at Wellington this 24th day of November 1975

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council, pursuant to subsections (1) and (2) of section 17 of The Government Life Insurance Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby reappoints George Robertson, Esquire, to be a member of the Government Insurance Investment Board.
