Appointment of the Bay of Plenty Catchment Commission to Control and Manage a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints the Bay of Plenty Catchment Commission to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve for soil conservation and river control purposes.

Resumption of Unformed Roads in Mount Peel, Sinclair and Fox Survey Districts: Strathallan County

PURSUANT to section 191B of the Counties Act 1956, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been transferred to the Crown by the Strathallan County Council, pursuant to the said section 191B, and as from the date of this notice the land shall be deemed to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

Authorisation of the Exchange of Part of Featherston Domain for Other Land

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby authorises the exchange of that part of the Featherston Domain described in the First Schedule hereto for the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

This notice is issued in substitution for the notice dated 25 July 1975 and published in Gazette, 7 August 1975, No. 65, page 1739, and that notice is hereby cancelled.

Revocation of the Reservation over Part of a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation over that part of the reserve for recreation purposes described in the Schedule

hereto, and further declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Franklin County Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council's reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other recreation reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for recreation purposes.

Reservation of Land and Declaration That Land be Part of the Ohiwa Domain

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, declares the said reserve to be a public domain subject to the provisions of Part III of the last-mentioned Act to form part of the Ohiwa Domain to be administered as a public domain by the Domain Board.
