Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the
Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of an Urupa
and historic site for the common use and benefit of Te Whanau
a Apanui.

SCHEDULE

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT

All that piece of land situated in Block I, Haparapara Survey
District, and described as follows:

A. R. P.
2 1 00 Part Awanui Haparapara No. 1 (Motunui Island)
(9105 m²) as described in partition order of the Maori
Land Court dated 16 December 1910.

District, and described as follows:

Notice Redefining the Persons or Class of Persons for Whose
Use or Benefit a Maori Reservation Was Set Apart

Whereas by notice dated 17 July 1975, published in Gazette,
24 July 1975, No. 62, p. 1626, the Maori freehold land
described in the Schedule hereto was set apart as a Maori
reservation, for the purpose of a marae and meeting place,
for the common use and benefit of the Maori people of Titoki:

And whereas it is proposed to redefine the persons or
class of persons for whose use and benefit the Maori reserva-
tion was set apart:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 439 (5) (d) of the
Maori Affairs Act 1953, notice is hereby given as follows.

NOTICE

The persons or class of persons for whose use and benefit
the Maori reservation constituted by notice dated 17 July
1975, published in Gazette, 24 July 1975, No. 62, p. 1626,
and described in the Schedule hereto, are hereby redefined
as being the Maori people of New Zealand.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

All that piece of land situated in Block XVI, Mangakahia
Survey District, and described as follows:

Missing Persons--Notice Under Section 447 of the Maori
Affairs Act 1953

Pursuant to section 447 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953,
the Maori Trustee hereby gives notice, that a list of missing
persons has been filed with all the Registrars of the Maori
Land Court at:

Whangarei,
Hamilton,
Rotorua,
Gisborne,
Wanganui,
Palmerston North, and
Christchurch

and at the district offices of the Department of Maori Affairs
at:

Auckland and
Wellington

and at all suboffices of the Department of Maori Affairs
where the same may be inspected during office hours without
payment of a fee.
