(iii) The Professor of Education and Head of Subject in the School of Education of the University of Waikato;
(iv) Four other members of the Council of the University of Waikato being those members appointed by the Governor-General except that where one of those members is the Chancellor of the University, three members only shall be appointed.
(e) One member, to be appointed by the Minister of Education on the nomination of the South Auckland Regional Branch of the New Zealand Secondary School Boards Association and who shall be a member of that Association;
(f) One member, to be appointed by the Minister of Education on the nomination of the Dominion Executive of the New Zealand Educational Institute;
(g) One member, to be appointed by the Minister of Education on the nomination of the Executive of the New Zealand Post Primary Teachers Association;
(h) One member, to be appointed by the Minister of Education on the joint nomination of the Local Free Kindergarten Associations of Ward No. 2 of the New Zealand Free Kindergarten Union Incorporated;
(i) One member, being a member of the academic staff of the Hamilton Teachers College, elected by the academic staff of that College;
(j) One member, being a student of the Hamilton Teachers College elected by the students of that College;
(k) Not more than three members to be appointed by the Minister of Education on the nomination of the Hamilton Teachers College Council, each being a person who in the opinion of that Council has special knowledge and experience of education or who has a special interest in cultural and educational activities.
(2) In addition to the members specified in subclause (1) of this clause, the Minister of Education may, if in his opinion there are other special circumstances, including circumstances relating to the internal management of the Hamilton Teachers College, appoint additional members to the Hamilton Teachers College Council.
(3) The members of the Hamilton Teachers College Council elected or appointed to hold office in accordance with this notice shall do so in the manner prescribed by sections 67E, F, G, and H of the Education Act 1964.
(4) The Hamilton Teachers College Council Notice 1969 is hereby revoked.

Declaring Land in the Otago Land District to be Crown Land Subject to the Land Act 1948

PURSUANT to section 171 of the Coal Mines Act 1925, the Minister of Mines hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

The land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

Rate of Annual Berryfruit Levy Fixed (No. 1288 Ag.)

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Berryfruit Levy Act 1967, the Minister of Agriculture, having regard to the recommendation of the New Zealand Berryfruit Growers' Federation (Incorporated), hereby revokes the notice dated the 16th day of September 1970* fixing the rates of annual berryfruit levy, and prescribes the rates of annual levy to be paid by berryfruit growers to the Federation on and from the 1st day of October 1976 set out in the Schedule hereto.

The Traffic (Tauranga County) Notice No. 6, 1975

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Tauranga County) Notice No. 6, 1975.
  2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
  3. The Traffic (Tauranga County) Notice 1959, dated the 20th day of July 1959† under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to a road at Te Matai situated within Tauranga County is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

Situated within Tauranga County at Te Matai:

No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne): from the bridge over the Kaituna River to a point 900 metres measured westerly generally along the said highway from the said bridge.
