TAUMARUNUI COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR RUBBISH TIP—OMORI COUNTY TOWN

IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and its amendments, and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Taumarunui County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to take the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land to be used to provide a rubbish tip to serve the Omori County Town. And notice is hereby further given that the plans of the lands required to be taken are deposited at the public office of the said Council situated in Manuauate Street, Taumarunui, and are open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary business hours. All persons affected by the taking of the said lands if they have any objections (which are not objections as to the amount of payment of compensation) which they may wish to make to the taking of the said lands, must state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land containing 1.2410 hectares situated in Block II, Puketi Survey District, and being part of Pukawa 4B1 Block, certificate of title Volume 304, folio 123, Wellington Land Registry; as shown on Survey Office Plan 30343 deposited as above. The said piece of land is situated at the end of the road off Omori Road, due west from Kuratau River Mouth Settlement, Omori County Town.

HOROWHENUA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928

NOTICE is hereby given that the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Horowhenua, a body corporate, duly constituted under the Counties Act 1956, proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and all other Acts, powers and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a public work, namely a public road or street. Notice is hereby given that a plan of the lands proposed to be taken has been deposited at the offices of the Horowhenua County Council, Bath Street, Levin, and is numbered Survey Office Plan No. 30414 being at such office open for inspection by all persons during ordinary office hours. Any person affected by such taking is hereby required to state if he has any objection thereto and to set forth in writing such objection which he may wish to make, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send such written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk, at the Horowhenua County Council Chambers, Bath Street, Levin. Notice is hereby further given that if any objection is made as aforesaid in accordance with the provisions of section 22 (1) (d) of the Public Works Act 1928, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector requires otherwise and each objector will be advised of the time and place of that hearing.

The three foregoing parcels of land are located immediately to the west of the junction of Old Coach Road and Rangiuru Road and form part of the road presently known as Rangiuru Road running in a westerly direction from that junction.

WELLINGTON REGIONAL WATER BOARD

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Wellington Regional Water Board Act 1972, and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928:

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington Regional Water Board, duly constituted under the Wellington Regional Water Board Act 1972, proposes under the provisions of the above-named Acts and of all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf to execute a public work, namely waterworks and for the general purposes of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the said piece of land is deposited at the offices of the Wellington Regional Water Board, Third Floor, M.E.D. Building, Lower Cuba Street, Wellington, and is there open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. And that any person affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said piece of land should, if he has any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said piece of land (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation) send his written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, P.O. Box 12-244, Wellington North. And notice is hereby further given that if any objection is made as aforesaid a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing and at that hearing each objector will be advised of the reasons for the proposed taking.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land situated in Block X and XIV of the Akatarawa Survey District, containing 890 acres and 35 perches, more or less, being Sections 359 and 362 and parts of Sections 359 and 363 of the Hutt District and parts closed road, part of the said land being also Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 11623, and the whole of the said land being more particularly comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume B3, folio 719 (Wellington Registry).
