WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council
proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the con-
struction of a public road for which purpose the land
described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by
the Council, under the provisions of the Public Works Act
1928. A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid
lies open to public inspection at the office of the Council
in Carlton Street, Te Awamutu. Every person directly affected
is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection
he may wish to make to the execution of such work or
to the taking of such land not being an objection to the
amount or payment of compensation and to send such written
objection to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board,
Wellington, within 40 days from the first publication of
this notice. A public hearing of the objection will be held,
unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector
will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

DARGAVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL

SPECIAL ORDER—NUMBER OF COUNCILLORS

IN exercise of its powers under section 53 of the Municipal
Corporations Act 1954, the Dargaville Borough Council hereby
resolves by way of Special Order that, from and including
the triennial election of councillors to be held on the 12th day
of October 1974, the number of councillors on the said
council be and is hereby increased from seven (7) to nine (9),
exclusive of the Mayor.

The foregoing Special Order was duly made by the Darga-
ville Borough Council by Special Order passed and adopted
at a Special Meeting of the said Council convened for the
purpose on the 25th day of July 1974, and confirmed on
the 12th day of September 1974.

The common seal of the Mayor, Councillors and Citizens
of the Borough of Dargaville was affixed to the foregoing
Special Order at a meeting of the Dargaville Borough Council
held on the 12th day of September 1974, in the presence of:

PURSUANT to the Law Practitioners Act 1955, notice is
hereby given that the Disciplinary Committee of the New
Zealand Law Society, on the 20th day of August 1974,
ordered that the name of Donal Bruce Heatley, of Welling-
ton, be restored to the Roll of Barristers and the Roll of
Solicitors of the Supreme Court of New Zealand subject
to the condition that the said Donal Bruce Heatley shall
not practise as a solicitor on his own account, whether
in partnership or otherwise, until authorised by the disciplinary
Committee to do so.
