The Traffic (Oamaru Borough and Waitaki County) Notice No. 1, 1974
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
-
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Oamaru Borough and Waitaki County) Notice No. 1, 1974.
-
The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
-
The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
-
The road specified in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
-
The Traffic (Waitaki County) Notice No. 1, 1972, dated the 20th day of September 1972†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to roads situated within Waitaki County and adjacent to Oamaru Borough is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Waitaki County:
At Weston:
Airedale Road: from the Oamaru-Ngapara-Tokarahi Road to a point 300 metres measured northerly generally along Airedale Road from Charles Street.
Argyle Street: from the Oamaru-Ngapara-Tokarahi Road to Essex Street.
Ascot Road.
Baker Street.
Charles Street: from the Oamaru-Ngapara-Tokarahi Road to Homestead Road.
Gordon Street: from Charles Street to a point 300 metres measured southerly generally along Gordon Street from Argyle Street.
Meek Street.
Oamaru-Ngapara-Tokarahi Road: from White Rocks Road to Airedale Road and to a point 240 metres measured westerly generally along the Oamaru-Ngapara-Tokarahi Road from Airedale Road.
Percy Street.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Oamaru Borough.
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from a point 50 metres measured westerly generally along the said State highway from the Oamaru-Ngapara-Tokarahi Road to the western boundary of Oamaru Borough.
Oamaru-Ngapara-Tokarahi Road: from a point 50 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said road from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to the western boundary of Oamaru Borough.
THIRD SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Oamaru Borough:
Oamaru-Ngapara-Tokarahi Road: from a point 50 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said road from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to the western boundary of Oamaru Borough.
SITUATED within Waitaki County at Weston, and adjacent to Oamaru Borough:
Oamaru-Ngapara-Tokarahi Road: from the western boundary of Oamaru Borough to White Rocks Road.
Essex Street: from Weston Road to Charles Street.

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Lake County) Notice No. 1, 1974.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

The Traffic (Lake County) Notice No. 1, 1971, dated the 18th day of January 1971†, and the Traffic (Lake County) Notice No. 2, 1970, dated the 12th day of December 1970†, under regulations 27 and 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relate to roads situated within Lake County and adjacent to Queenstown Borough are hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Lake County adjacent to Queenstown Borough:
Avalon Crescent.
Fernhill Road: from a point 50 metres measured westerly generally along the said road from Avalon Crescent to the western boundary of Queenstown Borough.
Richards Road.
Wynyard Crescent.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Lake County adjacent to Queenstown Borough:
No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth): from the Queenstown Borough boundary to a point 1440 metres measured easterly generally along the said State highway from the Queenstown Borough boundary.
Arthurs Point Road: from the Queenstown Borough boundary to a point 800 metres measured northerly generally along the said road from the Queenstown Borough boundary.
