THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE
a special order to raise the sum of forty-four million dollars
($44,000,000) as a special loan to be known as Bulk Water
Supply Loan No. 43; 1974, $44,000,000 for the purposes
of and incidental to the completing of the Waitakere and
Hunua sections of the bulk water supply scheme. The fore-
going special order was passed at an ordinary meeting of
the Auckland Regional Authority held on 15 July 1974, and
confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the said authority held
on 19 August 1974, having meantime been advertised in the
Auckland Star on 24 July and 7 August 1974.
The Common Seal of the Auckland Regional Authority
was hereunto affixed in the presence of the Chairman and
Secretary.

THE MARLBOROUGH AGRICULTURAL AND
PASTORAL ASSOCIATION BILL
NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL
In the matter of the standing orders of the House of
Representatives relating to Private Bills and in the matter
of a Private Bill intituled "An Act to enable the Marlborough
Agricultural and Pastoral Association to dispose of certain
land in the Borough of Blenheim and to enter into arrange-
ments with the Blenheim Borough Council for the use of
the land":
Notice is hereby given that the Marlborough Agricultural
and Pastoral Association, duly incorporated under the Agri-
cultural and Pastoral Societies Act 1908, intends to apply
for leave to bring into the House of Representatives at
the present session a Private Bill intituled as above. The
objects of the said Bill are to authorise the Marlborough
Agricultural and Pastoral Association to transfer the land
known as the Blenheim Showgrounds to the Blenheim
Borough Council for the purposes of recreational sport, park
land, and other purposes and to provide for the investment
and application of the moneys to be received by the said
association from the Blenheim Borough Council and further
to provide for various incidental matters. The Blenheim
Borough Council and the Marlborough Agricultural and
Pastoral Association have entered into an agreement provid-
ing for the said land to be transferred to the Blenheim
Borough Council for the purposes of recreation and provid-
ing inter alia for payment of purchase money and for the
continuing use of the said land for the purposes of the
association as showgrounds on a number of days in each
year.
The promoter of the Bill is the Marlborough Agricultural
and Pastoral Association whose address is care of Messrs
Gascoigne, Wicks & Co., Barristers and Solicitors, 77 High
Street, Blenheim, to which address all communications and
notices may be sent and at which address a copy of the
Bill may be inspected.

THE MACDONALD ADOPTION BILL
NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL
Notice is hereby given that Grace Jones Macdonald, of
Wellington, widow, intends to apply for leave to bring in
a Bill intituled "An Act to give to an interim order of
adoption made on the 24th day of May 1972 in favour
of Andrew Macdonald and Grace Jones Macdonald as adopt-
ing parents of Donald Alan Macdonald such force and
effect as if it had been a final order of adoption made on
the same day", the object of which is to declare that the
interim order of adoption, made by the Magistrate's Court
at Wellington on the 24th day of May 1972, on the applica-
tion of Andrew Macdonald (since deceased) and Grace Jones
Macdonald to adopt Donald Alan Macdonald, shall operate,
and for all purposes be deemed always to have operated,
as a final order of adoption.
A copy of the Bill may be inspected at the offices of
Messrs Salek, Turner & Brown, 32 Waring Taylor Street,
Wellington, to which communications or notices to the
promoter may be sent.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.
STATUTORY REGULATIONS
Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of
general legislative force are no longer published in the New
Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of
the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing),
subscription $12 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual Volume (including index) bound in buckram,
$5 per volume. (Volumes for years 1936-37 and
1939-42 are out of print.)
