NOTEβ€”Any person who intends to appear on the hearing of the said petition must serve on or send by post to the abovenamed notice in writing of his intention so to do. The notice must state the name, address, and description of the person, or, if a firm, the name, address, and description of the firm, and an address for service within three miles of the office of the Supreme Court at Dunedin and must be signed by the person or firm, or his or their solicitor (if any), and must be served, or, if posted, must be sent by post in sufficient time to reach the above-named petitioner's address for service not later than 4 o'clock in the afternoon of the 12th day of September 1974.

GISBORNE CITY COUNCIL

CONSTITUTION OF COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 53 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Gisborne City Council doth hereby resolve by way of Special Order that the Council for the City of Gisborne shall consist of twelve councillors (exclusive of the Mayor), this to take effect from the Municipal Elections 1974. The foregoing resolution was duly passed by way of special order at an ordinary meeting of the Council held on 16 July 1974, and, meantime having been publicly notified, confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the Council held on the 20th day of August 1974.

UPPER HUTT CITY COUNCIL

IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Corporation of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Upper Hutt requires to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto in connection with a public work and in connection with the provision of amenities pursuant to the Operative Reviewed District Scheme No. 2 of the said corporation, namely, in connection with a parking place. Every person directly affected is hereby required to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send such written objection within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, Wellington. If any such objection is made a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and such objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land situated in the City of Upper Hutt known as No. 33B Queen Street, containing thirty-six decimal sixty-six perchces (36.66 p.), more or less, being part of Section 120 of the Hutt District, and being also Lot 4 on Deposited Plan 15992, and being the whole of the land comprised in and described by certificate of title, Volume 591, folio 216 (Wellington Registry), subject to the fencing covenant contained in transfer 318038 and together with the right of way over the part Lot 3 coloured blue on the plan on the said certificate of title (part C/T 583/267) created by transfer 351223.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1928

NOTICE is hereby given that the Whangarei City Council proposes to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of improving the Raumanga Stream, this work being part of the Whangarei flood prevention scheme. Notice is further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the said council situated in Bank Street, Whangarei, and is there available for public inspection without fee by all persons during office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said work or by the taking of such land who have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board. If any objection is made a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
