MATAMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land to be used for a deviation on the Old Cambridge - Taupo Road, Tokoroa. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Matamata County Council, Rose Street, Tirau, and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, P.O. Box 12-224 at Wellington North; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

ALL that piece of land having frontage to the Old Cambridge - Taupo Road, Tokoroa, containing 700 square metres, being part Lot 5, D.P. BOROUGH OF ONEHUNGA

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE: ROADING IMPROVEMENT LOAN 1974—$263,800

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Onehunga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $263,800 authorised to be raised by the Onehunga Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of upgrading borough roads, the said Onehunga Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.13549c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Onehunga, and that the special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable over a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

The foregoing resolution was passed by the Onehunga Borough Council at a meeting held on Monday, 15 July 1974.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE: FLATS CONSTRUCTION LOAN 1973—$120,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Onehunga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $120,000 authorised to be raised by the Onehunga Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing 11 flat units under the State Advances Corporation’s community housing scheme, the said Onehunga Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.02995c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Onehunga and that the special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable over a period of 40 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

The foregoing resolution was passed by the Onehunga Borough Council at a meeting held on Monday, 15 July 1974.
