Revoking a Proclamation Declaring an Area in the Waimate Acclimatisation District to be a Wildlife Refuge (Block XIII, Hakataramea Survey District)

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the proclamations issued on the 28th day of November 1962* and the 21st day of December 1962†, declaring an area of land in Block XIII, Hakataramea Survey District, and in the Waimate Acclimatisation District, to be a wildlife refuge for the purposes of the Wildlife Act 1953.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand this 12th day of January 1974.

Public Highway Declared to be Motorway in the City of Auckland

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 3 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a motorway.

SCHEDULE

ALL that portion of public highway in the City of Auckland commencing at Symonds Street at the junction with the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway (as described in the Order in Council dated the 6th day of July 1970 and published in Gazette, 9 July 1970, No. 40, p. 1186) and passing under Symonds Street, Upper Queen Street, Karangahape Road, and Hopetoun Street, and terminating at the junction of Wellington Street, Hobson Street, and Pitt Street, as shown on plan M.O.W. 35779 (A.D.O. 34152) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works and Development at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

Pursuant to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access ways described in the First Schedule hereto and the service lanes described in the Second Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Porirua and be under the control and management of the Porirua City Council.
