ALL that parcel of land known as No. 13 Girton Terrace, Wellington, containing ten and twenty-five one-hundredths (10.25) perches, more or less, situate in the City of Wellington, being part of Section 742 on the Public Map of the Town of Wellington and being all the land in certificate of title 351/1 (Wellington Registry).

HAURAKI CATCHMENT BOARD
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND IN BLOCKS VIII AND XII, WAIHOU SURVEY DISTRICT FOR RIVER CONTROL

NOTICE is hereby given that the Hauraki Catchment Board proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for soil conservation and river control purposes the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land to be used for the construction of a stop-bank and river control works as part of the Waihou Valley Scheme: and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the offices of the Hauraki Catchment Board situated at 59 Whitaker Street, Te Aroha, and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have an objection to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, P.O. Box 12-244, Wellington North; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that parcel of land containing 8.2750 hectares, being the land in Survey Office Plan 47570, being part of Lot 4, Deposited Plan 3063, being part Komata North Block in Blocks VIII and XII, Waihou Survey District, and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 119, folio 276 (South Auckland Registry). The said parcel of land is portion of the farm property of Howard Graham Morrison situated at Vedders Road, Hikutai.

ONE TREE HILL BOROUGH COUNCIL

SPECIAL ORDER—CONSOLIDATION OF SPECIAL RATES

NOTICE is hereby given that the following Special Order resolution was passed at a special meeting of the One Tree Hill Borough Council held on Tuesday, the 7th day of May 1974, and confirmed at a Special Meeting of the One Tree Hill Borough Council held in the Council Chambers at 5 p.m., on Tuesday, 11 June 1974, having meantime been advertised in the Auckland Star on 18 May 1974, and New Zealand Herald on 1 June 1974.

RESOLUTION

PASSED at meeting held on 7 May 1974:

That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 as enacted by section 10 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1959, and amended by section 13 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1974, and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the One Tree Hill Borough Council hereby resolves, by way of special order, that instead of levying the special rates specified in the first and second Schedules hereto to make uniform consolidated special rates set out in paragraphs (a) and (b) hereunder:

(a) A uniform consolidated special (No. 1) rate of one decimal one one cents (1.11c) in the dollar upon the annual rateable value of all rateable property within the borough of One Tree Hill is hereby made an annually recurring rate for the purpose of paying the annual charges plus ten percent (10%) thereof, payable in respect of the loans secured by the special rates set out in the First Schedule.

(b) A uniform consolidated special (No. 2) rate of decimal six six eight cents (0.668c) in the dollar upon the annual rateable value of all rateable property within the No. 3 special rating area (Penrose) constituted for the said special rating area as more particularly defined in the authenticated special rating list for that area, is hereby made an annually recurring rate for the purpose of paying the annual charges plus ten percent (10%) thereof, payable in respect of the loans secured by those special rates set out in the Second Schedule.

AND the One Tree Hill Borough Council hereby further resolves that the consolidated special rates set out above shall be payable in one sum on the first day of April in each year at the Council office, 272 Manukau Road, Epsom, to Brian William Archer, or at such other place, or to such other person for the time being authorised by Council.

Confirming Resolution passed at Meeting held on Tuesday, 11 June 1974.

That the special order, passed and adopted at a special meeting of the Council convened for the purpose and held on Tuesday, 7 May 1974, and providing that, instead of levying the various separate special interest rates as specified in the First and Second Schedules thereto, Council make the uniform consolidated special rates set out in paragraphs (a) and (b) thereto: be and is hereby confirmed and that the Common Seal of the Corporation be affixed to the special order in the presence of His Worship the Mayor, Councillors T. J. Darby, J. M. Dickey, and the Town Clerk.

The Common Seal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of One Tree Hill was hereunto affixed in the presence of:
