Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Porirua City Council
Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands
hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto
as a reserve for recreation purposes and further, pursuant
to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953 vests the said reserve
in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of
Porirua in trust for that purpose.

LOT 232, D.P. 31478, being part Section 286, Porirua District,
situated in Block II, Belmont Survey District: area,

Board Appointed to Have Control of Lake Mahinapua Scenic
Reserve and Recreation Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the
Minister of Lands hereby appoints:
The Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Westland Land
District, ex officio, who shall be Chairman,
His Worship the Mayor of Hokitika, ex officio,
The Chairman of the Reserves Committee of the Hokitika
Borough Council, ex officio,
The Chairman of the Works Committee of the Hokitika
Borough Council, ex officio,
Three representatives of the Westland County Council, ex
officio, to be appointed in that behalf by the county
council,
A representative of the Westland Acclimatisation Society,
ex officio, to be appointed in that behalf by the society,
and
A representative of the Lake Mahinapua Aquatic Club
Incorporated, ex officio, to be appointed in that behalf
by the club,
to be the Lake Mahinapua Scenic Board to have control
of the reserve described in the First Schedule hereto, subject
to the provision of the said Act as a recreation reserve, and,
further, appoints the said Board to have control of the
reserve described in the Second Schedule hereto subject to
the provisions of the said Act as a scenic reserve.

MAHINAPUA SCENIC RESERVE
PART Reserve 1056 and parts Reserve 1055, situated in
Blocks VII, VIII, XI, and XII, Mahinapua Survey District:
area, 502.1798 hectares, more or less (S.O. Plans 3624, 3375,
4174L, 4614, 4634, and 5756).

Resumption of Unformed Road in Block IV, Tiger Hill
Survey District, Vincent County
Pursuant to section 191B of the Counties Act 1956, the
Minister of Lands hereby declares that the land described
in the Schedule hereto has been transferred to the Crown
by the Vincent County Council, pursuant to the said
section 191B, and as from the date of this notice the land
shall be deemed to be Crown land subject to the Land
Act 1948.
