THE PUBLIC WORKS AMENDMENT ACT 1973
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR PUBLIC WORK
NOTICE is hereby given that the Lake County Council requires
the following-described land to be taken for public work,
namely, that piece of land situated in the Land District of
Otago containing 20.44 hectares being part Section 14,
Block III, Lower Wanaka Survey District, being part of the
land comprised and described in certificate of title, Dunedin
Register Book, Volume 5C, folio 785, which land fronts
Ballantynes Road near the intersection of Riverbank Road
and the registered proprietor of which is Angus Carlin Gordon.
The plan of the said land required to be taken is open
for inspection at the offices of the Lake County Council,
Ballarat Street, Queenstown. The general purposes for which
the said land is to be used is for sewerage treatment purposes
and the site of a sewerage oxidation pond. Every person
who is directly affected shall set forth in writing any objection
he may wish to the taking of the land, not being an objection
to the amount or payment of compensation, and shall send
the written objection within 40 days after the first publication
of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal
Board. If any objection is made as aforesaid, a public hearing
of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise
requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and
place of the hearing.

ADVERTISMENT OF CANCELLING
NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly Societies
has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act 1909,
by writing under his hand dated this 13th day of May 1974,
cancelled the registry of the Tauranga Maori Community
Credit Union, Register No. 571, with registered office held
at Tauranga on the ground that the said society has ceased
to exist.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening
of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the
Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the day preceding
publication.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 10c per line.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.

STATUTORY REGULATIONS
Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of
general legislative force are no longer published in the New
Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of
the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing),
subscription $12 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram,
$5 per volume. (Volumes for years 1936-37 and
1939-42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
The price of each regulation is printed thereon.
