CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Christchurch City Council
proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act
1928, and its amendments, to take the land described in
the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a public work,
namely for street diversion, pursuant to the provisions of
section 191 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954. Every
person affected should set forth in writing any objection
he may wish to make to the execution of the said work or
to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to
the amount or the payment of compensation, and send the
written objection to Town and Country Planning Appeal
Board, P.O. Box 12-244, Wellington North, within 40 days
from the 31st day of May 1974, being the date of the
first publication of this notice and if any such objection
is made a public hearing of the objection will be held,
unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector
will be advised of the time and place of such hearing.

SCHEDULE
All that piece of land situated in the City of Christchurch
containing 10.4 perches, or thereabouts, being part of Lot 1,
Deposited Plan 544, part Rural Section 235, and part of
Lot 2, Deposited Plan 2026, part Rural Section 239W and
being also all the land described in certificate of title,
Volume 267, folio 89 (Canterbury Registry). This descrip-
tion refers to a property situated at and known as 136
