Maori Land Development Notice
Pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.
NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Gisborne 1974, No. 1.
  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.
  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

    Plant Declared a Noxious Weed Under the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, in the County of Waimea (No. 743 Ag. 20649A)
    Pursuant to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries Act 1953, for the purposes of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the following special order, made by the Waimea County Council on the 30th day of April 1974 is hereby published.
    SPECIAL ORDER
    "THAT the Waimea County Council pursuant to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, resolves by way of special order that saffron thistle (Carthamus lanatus) be declared a noxious weed within the whole County of Waimea."

    Notice Declaring Quarantine Area at Waerenga (No. 750 Ag. 70072)
    NOTICE is hereby given that, for the purpose of detention of imported horses under the Animals Act 1967, the land and premises described in the Schedule below are hereby declared to be a quarantine area from the date of this notice to 11 August 1974.
    SCHEDULE
    ALL that parcel of land containing 89 acres and 4.6 perches, more or less, being Lot 1, Deposited Plan S. 5748, and part Lot 1, Deposited Plan 27165, and being part of Allotments 65, 69, 70A, 71, and 167, Parish of Whangamarino, and being all of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 1714, folio 89, South Auckland Land Registry.

    Notice Declaring Quarantine Area at Trentham (No. 751 Ag. 70072)
    NOTICE is hereby given that, for the purposes of detention of imported horses under the Animals Act 1967, that the land and premises of Wrightson N.M.A. Ltd. and Pyne, Gould, Guinness Ltd. Sale Grounds situated at the northern end of Racecourse Road, Trentham, comprising approximately 2½ acres and known as "K Block" is hereby declared to be a quarantine area from the date of this notice to 15 July 1974.

    The Road Classification (Waitemata County) Notice No. 2, 1973
    Pursuant to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1969* the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice.
    NOTICE
  4. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Waitemata County) Notice No. 2, 1973.
  5. The Waitemata County Council's proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.
  6. So much of the notice dated the 11th day of June 1963† which relates to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.
