No. 35 State Highway (Opotiki to Gisborne) from the Opotiki County Borough Boundary to Tirohanga Stream, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 3 of plan M.O.W. 36053 and the accompanying Schedule held in the office of the resident engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Gisborne, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Environmental Impact Report Notified—Marsden B Power Station

THE Commission for the Environment gives notice that it has received an environmental impact report on the construction of an extension to the Marsden power station near Whangarei, to be fuelled by both oil and coal. Representations in writing on the environmental aspects of the project, as it is explained in the report, will be received at the office of the Commission, P.O. Box 12-042, Wellington, until Friday, 21 June 1974.

Copies of the report may be obtained at the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department, Hobson Towers, Auckland, or at the power station, or from the Commission for the Environment, 53 Murphy Street, Wellington.

Tariff and Development Board Notice No. 401—Tariff Inquiry—Varnishes, Etc., Paints, Etc. of Ex Tariff Headings 32.09 and 32.10 and Prepared Driers, Composite Solvents, Etc. of Tariff Headings 32.11 and 38.18—Deferment of Public Hearing

AT the request of parties to the inquiry the Board has decided to postpone the public hearing in respect of the abovementioned goods set down to commence on Tuesday, 9 July 1974, at 10.30 a.m. (Notice No. 399, New Zealand Gazette of 21 March 1974). The new date for the hearing will be notified later.

Submissions should include a reference to the application number, Tariff item and description of the goods concerned, be addressed to the Comptroller of Customs, Private Bag, Wellington and supported by information as to:

(a) The quality, range, supply, etc., of the above-described goods produced in New Zealand; and

(b) The landed cost and selling price, including c.d.v., and cost into store in terms of f.o.b., insurance, freight, exchange, and other landing charges, duty, etc., of equivalent goods of overseas origin.
