PURSUANT to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture
and Fisheries under the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries
Act 1953, the following Special Order, made by the Kaikoura
County Council on the 19th day of April 1974, is hereby
published.

SPECIAL ORDER
"THE Council of the Kaikoura County in pursuance and
exercise of the powers vested in it by section 3 of the Noxious
Weeds Act 1950, hereby declares by way of Special Order
that the following plants, being plants mentioned and included
in the first schedule to the said Act, are noxious weeds
within the district of the County of Kaikoura from and
including the 1st day of May 1974.

Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare),
Lupin (Lupinus Aboreus).

Appointment of Licensing Authority in Respect of Service
Carried on in Two or More Goods Service Districts

PURSUANT to section 115(1)(b) of the Transport Act 1962,
the Secretary for Transport hereby appoints the No. 4 Trans-
port Licensing Authority to exercise jurisdiction in respect
of the application by E. F. Deadman Ltd., Taupo, to amend
Goods Service Licence No. 6130 for the service proposed to be
carried on in No. 3, 4, 5B, and 6 Goods Service Districts.

Licensing James Albert Williams to Occupy a Site for a
Jetty on the Manawatu River

PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Peter
Edward Muers of the Ministry of Transport in exercise
of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby
license and permit James Albert Williams (hereinafter called

the licensee, which term shall include his administrators,
executors or assigns unless the context requires a different
construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore
and bed of the Manawatu River as shown on plan marked
M.D. 15185 and deposited in the office of the Ministry
of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining
thereon a jetty as shown on the said plan, such licence
to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to
the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regula-
tions 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall,
so far as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the
1st day of February 1974.
(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be
ten dollars ($10) and the annual sum so payable by the
licensee shall be twenty dollars ($20); provided always
that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at
the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said
term.

Revoking the Foreshore Licence Authorising Warkworth
Town Council to Occupy a Site for Beacons in the
Mahurangi Harbour and River

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, I, Peter Edward Muers
of the Ministry of Transport in exercise of powers delegated
by the Minister of Transport hereby give notice that the
licence of 13 December 1971, authorising the Warkworth
Town Council to use and occupy a part of the bed of
the Mahurangi Harbour and River for the purpose of
maintaining thereon 18 beacons is hereby revoked.
