County

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby
proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule
hereto which land shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants of the County of Tauranga; and also hereby
proclaims that the road described in the Second Schedule
hereto is hereby closed and shall when so closed, vest in Dawn
Waverley Wright, married woman; and John Litchfield
Newman, builder, both of Tauranga, as joint tenants, subject
to memorandum of Mortgage No. S. 567775, South Auckland
Land Registry.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre 3 roods 8.3 perches,
situated in Block IV, Otanewainuku Survey District, being
part Lot 1, D.P. S. 8395; as shown on plan M.O.W. 27864
(S.O. 47147) deposited in the office of the Minister of
Works and Development at Wellington and thereon coloured
blue.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of road containing 1 acre 3 roods 14.8 perches
situated in Block IV, Otanewainuku Survey District, adjoining
or passing through Lot 2, D.P. 32121, and part Lot 1,
D.P. S. 8395; as shown on plan M.O.W. 27864 (S.O. 47147)
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works and Development
at Wellington and thereon coloured green.

Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed and Vested, Road
Closed and Incorporated, and Land Taken and Vested in
Block IV, Waikawa Survey District, Southland County

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby
proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule
hereto; also hereby proclaims that the road described in
the Second Schedule hereto is hereby closed and that the
road first and secondly described in the said Second Schedule,
shall when so closed, be incorporated in lease in perpetuity
No. 733, recorded in register book, Volume 66, folio 6,
Southland Land Registry, held from Her Majesty the Queen
by John William Biggar, Adam Alexander Biggar, Peter
McKay Biggar, and James Francey Biggar, all of Niagara,
farmers, as tenants in common in equal shares, and the
road thirdly described in the said Second Schedule shall,
when so closed, vest in Charles Andrew Lamb, of Quarry
Hills, farmer, subject to memorandum of mortgage
No. 198428, Southland Land Registry, and the road fourthly
to seventhly described in the said Second Schedule shall,
when so closed, vest in John William Biggar, Adam Alexander
Biggar, Peter McKay Biggar, and James Francey Biggar,
all of Niagara, farmers, as tenants in common in equal
shares, and the road ninthly described in the said Second
Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in the Chairman,
Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Southland,
and also hereby resumes the land described in the Third
Schedule hereto for the purpose of subsection (6) of the
said section 29 and declares that the land first described
in the said Third Schedule shall, when so resumed, vest
in the aforementioned Charles Andrew Lamb, subject to
memorandum of mortgage No. 198428, Southland Land
Registry, and the land thirdly described in the said Third
Schedule shall, when so resumed, vest in the Chairman,
Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Southland.
