Land Taken for the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway in the City of Auckland

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, and section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway.

All those pieces of land situated in the City of Auckland, described as follows:

O O 9.5 Part Allotment 12, Section 44, City of Auckland. All certificate of title, Volume 596, folio 242, limited as to parcels, North Auckland Land Registry.
O O 9.8 Part Allotments 12 and 13, Section 44, City of Auckland. All certificate of title, Volume 596, folio 241, limited as to parcels, North Auckland Land Registry.

Extending the Time Within Which Commission of Inquiry into Maori Reserved Land May Report

ORDER IN COUNCIL
To all whom these presents shall come, and to:
BARTHOLOMEW SHEEHAN, of Rotorua, retired Judge of the Maori Land Court; ROLLAND O'REGAN, of Wellington, retired Surgeon; and GEORGINA TE HEUHEU, of Rotorua, Legal Practitioner:
GREETING:
WHEREAS, by Order in Council made on the 20th day of December 1973, you, the said Bartholomew Sheehan, Rolland O'Regan, and Georgina Te Heuheu were appointed to be a Commission to inquire into and report upon the administration of land beneficially owned by Maoris and vested in the Maori Trustee as reserved land under the Maori Reserve Land Act 1955, and upon the provisions of that Act:
And whereas by the said Order in Council you were required to submit your report not later than the 31st day of July 1974:
And whereas it is expedient that the time for so reporting should be extended as hereinafter provided:
Now therefore, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting pursuant to the Commissions of Inquiry Act 1908, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby extend until the 30th day of October 1974 the time within which you, the said Bartholomew Sheehan, Rolland O'Regan, and Georgina Te Heuheu are so required to report, without prejudice to the continuation of the liberty conferred upon you by the said Order in Council to report your proceedings and findings from time to time if you judge it expedient so to do, and hereby confirm the said Order in Council and the Commission thereby constituted, save as modified by these presents.
Given in Executive Council under the hand of his Excellency the Governor-General this 13th day of May 1974.

THE HON. H. WATT PRESIDING IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Local Agricultural Pests in Hawke's Bay Pest Destruction District Order 1974. (2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
  2. The opossum, the hare, and the rook are hereby declared pests of local importance in the Hawke's Bay Pest Destruction District.

    Constitution of the Waitotara, Patea and Waverley Hydatids Control District (No. 739 Ag. 21171)

    At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 29th day of April 1974
    Present:
    THE HON. H. WATT PRESIDING IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to the Hydatids Act 1968, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
    ORDER
  3. (1) This order may be cited as the Waitotara, Patea and Waverley Hydatids Control District Order 1974. (2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
  4. The areas comprising the Counties of Waitotara and Patea, the Borough of Patea and the Town District of Waverley as from time to time constituted are hereby declared to be united to form a hydatids control district to be called the Waitotara, Patea and Waverley Hydatids Control District.
  5. The Waitotara, Patea and Waverley Hydatids Control Authority is hereby appointed the hydatids control authority for the Waitotara, Patea and Waverley Hydatids Control District.
