NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CEASE TO HAVE A PLACE OF BUSINESS
IN NEW ZEALAND
IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter
of AUSTRALIAN DREDGING AND GENERAL WORKS
PTY. LTD.:
AUSTRALIAN Dredging and General Works Pty. Ltd. a com-
pany duly incorporated in Australia and being an overseas
company with a place of business in Wellington, New
Zealand, hereby gives notice pursuant to section 405 of the
Companies Act 1955, that it intends to cease to operate or
have a place of business in New Zealand on the expiration
of 3 months after the first publication of this notice and
that it will then apply to the Registrar of Companies to
be removed from the Register in New Zealand. The New
Zealand operations will now be carried out by its recently
formed associate company New Zealand Dredging and
General Works Ltd.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD STATE
HIGHWAY 16—RECONSTRUCTION NORTH OF ARAPARERA
NOTICE is hereby given that the Rodney County Council has
executed a certain public work, namely, the realignment and
reconstruction of a length of State Highway 16, north of
Araparera Bridge, and for the purpose of such work the
parcels of land described in the First Schedule hereto are
required to be taken for road pursuant to the Public Works
Act 1928, and in conjunction therewith, the area of severance
described in the Second Schedule hereto is to be taken
for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road. A plan
of the land so required is deposited in the Council Offices,
Baxter Street, Warkworth, where it is open for inspection
during ordinary office hours. Every person directly affected
by the taking of the said parcels of land should set forth
in writing any objection he may wish to make, not being an
objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and
send the written objection within 40 days after the first
publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning
Appeal Board, P.O. Box 12–244, Wellington North; and if
any objection is made in accordance with this notice a
public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the
objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised
of the time and place of the hearing.

COUNTY OF WAITEMATA
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Counties Act
1956, and the Health Act 1956, and amendments, the
Waitemata County Council proposes to execute certain public
works, namely, the provision of a road for which the land
described in the First Schedule hereto is required to be
taken, and the provision of a site for the disposal of refuse
and rubbish for which the land described in the Second
Schedule hereto is required to be taken. A plan of the
lands so required is deposited in the Council Offices at
68–70 Greys Avenue, Auckland, and at the District Office,
Silverdale, where it is open for inspection during ordinary
office hours. Every person directly affected shall set forth
in writing any objection he may wish to make to the taking
of the said land not being an objection to the amount or
payment of compensation and shall send the written objec-
tion within 40 days after the first publication of this notice
to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, P.O. Box
12–244, Wellington North. If any objection is made in
accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection
will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and
each objector will be advised of the time and place of
the hearing.

ALL those pieces of land containing:
Firstly, 29.3 perches, being part Allotment S.E. 232,
Waiwera Parish, being part of the land comprised and

Secondly, 38.3 perches, being part Allotment N.W. 232,
Waiwera Parish, and being part of the land comprised and
described in certificate of title, Volume 24D, folio 807.
Both are coloured yellow, edged yellow on S.O. Plan 47673
and both situated in Block VII, Waiwera Survey District,
and both situated in West Hoe Road, Orewa.
SECOND SCHEDULE
ALL those pieces of land containing:
Firstly, 7 acres and 25.3 perches, being Part Allotment
E. 230, Waiwera Parish, and part of the land comprised
and described in certificate of title, Volume 759, folio 234;
Secondly, 3 roods and 15.2 perches, being Allotment 624,
Waiwera Parish, and being part of the land comprised and
described in certificate of title, Volume 5A, folio 982;
Thirdly, 1 rood and 33.8 perches, being part Allotment 231,
Waiwera Parish, and being part of the land comprised and
described in certificate of title, Volume 24D, folio 808;
Fourthly, 23.9 perches, being part Allotment N.W. 232,
Waiwera Parish, and being part of the land comprised and
described in certificate of title 24D, folio 807.
All shown coloured yellow on S.O. Plan 47673 and all
situated in Block VII, Waiwera Survey District, and all
situated in West Hoe Road, Orewa.
