Otago Raspberry Marketing Committee Election (Notice No. 724 Ag. 60766)

Pursuant to clause 11 of the Schedule to the Otago Raspberry Marketing Regulations 1950, notice is hereby given that the roll of those persons qualified to vote for the election of two producers' representatives in the Northern Ward to the Otago Raspberry Marketing Committee will be open for inspection during ordinary office hours at the following places, viz: Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Head Office, Wellington; also at the offices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries at Timaru and Waimate, and at the Post Office, Temuka.

The roll will be available for public inspection for a period of 7 days from 15 May 1974, during which period any person may lodge with the Returning Officer an objection in writing, under his hand, to any entry on the roll.

Nomination forms may be obtained on application to any of the above offices or from the Returning Officer, Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Dunedin. Nominations must be in the hands of the Returning Officer not later than noon on the 12th day of June 1974.

The Standards Act 1965—Overseas Specifications Endorsed as Suitable for Use in New Zealand

Pursuant to section 17 of the Standards Act 1965, the Standards Council, on 19 April 1974, endorsed the undermentioned overseas specifications as suitable for use in New Zealand:

National Roads Board—Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 17 April 1974, and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) from its junction with Sandhead Street, Waihola, to a point opposite the north-east boundary of section 1435R, Block 1, Waihola S.D., in the town of Kapiti, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 4 of plan M.O.W. 35975 and the accompanying schedule held in the office of the resident engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Dunedin, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

National Roads Board—Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 17 April 1974, and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of No. 35 State Highway (Opotiki to Gisborne) from the eastern boundary of 3D Awanui Haparapara Block, M.L. 2569, to Wi Repa Bridge but excluding Te Kaha Settlement, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 5 and 1 to 4 of plans M.O.W. 35377 and 35378 and the accompanying schedules held in the office of the resident engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Gisborne, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.
