Declaring Land in the Westland Land District to be Crown Land Subject to the Land Act 1948

PURSUANT to section 171 of the Coal Mines Act 1925, the Minister of Mines hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

THE land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT—GREY COUNTY

SECTIONS 30, 31, and 32, Block 111, Cobden Survey District: area, 134 acres 1 rood 31 perches, more or less (S.O. Plan 3878). Land to be exempted from the operations of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925.

The notice, dated 12 December 1961, published in New Zealand Gazette, 21 December 1961, No. 82, page 1976, is hereby amended by inserting after the words "as from the 22nd day of December 1961", the words "subject to the building-line restriction contained in special order Z. 156554, and".

PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares that the land described in the First Schedule hereto and a stormwater easement, as defined in section 90D of the Land Transfer Act 1952, over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto, are hereby set apart for railway purposes on and after the 29th day of April 1974.
