(i) a charge of $6.40 per hour for time spent by
veterinary officers employed by or on contract
to the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries in
inspection, testing and certification of stock for
export,

(ii) a charge of $3.20 per hour for time spent by
livestock instructors of the Ministry of Agriculture
and Fisheries in assisting in the inspection and
testing of stock for export,

(iii) a charge of 11c per mile from headquarters to point
of examination and return for inspecting officers
of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries,

(iv) a charge of $2.50 per animal per visit for laboratory
testing including screening tests undertaken by
the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.

(v) a charge of $2.00 for every original certificate issued,
and

(vi) a charge of 25c per copy of every copy after the
fourth for each certificate issued.

(b) For cats and dogs, the following fees shall be payable
in respect of certification for export:

for one animal: $4.00,

for each additional animal the property of the same
owner and examined at the same time: $1.00.

(c) Fish and Crayfish:

(i) For each original certificate covering whole con-
signment: $6.00,

(ii) When separate certificates are required for each
package, cask, or parcel included in any one
consignment, a fee of 50c shall be payable for
each 10 or portion of 10 such certificates.

Amending the Motor Launch (Lake Taupo) Notice, 1971—
Department of Internal Affairs


PURSUANT to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962* the
Minister of Transport hereby gives notice that the notice
signed on 17 December 1971† declaring areas of water at
Lake Taupo to be access lanes is hereby amended by delet-
ing paragraph 3 of the First Schedule.

The North Canterbury Electric Power Board Electric Lines
Licence 1959, Amendment No. 8


PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of
Electricity hereby amends the North Canterbury Electric
Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1959*, as amended by
the amendments specified in the Schedule hereto, by revok-
ing clause 5 thereof and substituting the following:

“5. The systems of supply shall be as described in para-
graphs (a) (b) (c) (d) (e) (f) (h) and (j) of regulation 15
of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967. The system of
supply authorised under paragraph (j) aforesaid shall be a
single-conductor earth-return system of 11,000 volts between
conductor and earth, and the use thereof shall be subject
to such terms and conditions as are from time to time
laid down by the General Manager of the New Zealand
Electricity Department.”

ing Special Order made by the Ashburton County Council.

“That the boundaries of the South Rakaia Riding, Upper
Ashburton Riding, Rangitata Riding and Mount Somers
Riding of the Ashburton County be redefined as shown in
the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE

SOUTH RAKAIA RIDING

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Ashburton
County, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the
middle of the Rakaia River in line with the middle of
Lauriston Barrhill Road, Block VI, Hutt Survey District,
being a point on the boundary of the Ashburton County as
described in Gazette, 1968, p. 1710, and proceeding southerly
generally along that boundary to a point in line with the
Middle of Chertsey Kyle Road, Block I, South Rakaia Survey
District; thence north-westerly generally to and along the
middle of that road, No. 1 State Highway (Awanui Bluff),
and Mitcham Chertsey Road to the middle of Dromore
Hatfield Road, Block III, Ashburton Survey District; thence
south-westerly along the middle of that road and No. 1
State Highway (Awanui Bluff) to a point in line with the
middle of Dromore Methven Road; thence north-westerly to
and along the middle of that road to and north-easterly along
the middle of Mitcham Road to a point in line with the
south-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 2125; thence north-
westcrly to and along that boundary, the south-western
boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 2125 and the south-western side
of Robertsons Road and its production to the middle of
Winchmore Lauriston Road; thence north-easterly along the
middle of that road and Lauriston Barrhill Road and its
production to the point of commencement.


UPPER ASHBURTON RIDING

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Ashburton
County, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the
middle of No. 1 State Highway (Awanui Bluff) in line with
the middle of Dromore Methven Road, Block VI, Ashburton
Survey District, and proceeding south-westerly along the
middle of that State Highway to and along the production of
the middle of West Street to a right line aligned between
the original corner of the south-western side of Racecourse
Road with the north-western side of West Street and the
northernmost corner of Reserve 209 being a point on the
boundary of the Borough of Ashburton as described in
Gazette, 1967, p. 595; thence north-westerly generally and
south-westerly generally along that boundary to a point
in the middle of the South Island Main Trunk Railway in
line with the south-western boundary of Rural Section 39844;
thence south-westerly along the middle of that railway to
the middle of the Hinds River; thence north-westerly up
the middle of that river to the middle of Hackthorne Road,
Block XII, Shepherds Bush Survey District; thence north-
easterly generally along the middle of that road, Maronan
Valetta Road, and Tanks Road and its production across
Valetta-Westfield Road to the south-western boundary of
Rural Section 21346; thence north-westerly and north-easterly
generally along that boundary and the north-western
boundaries of Rural Sections 21336, 34631, 8860, 26412,
34026 and 36011 and the production of the last mentioned
boundary to the middle of the Ashburton River (South
Branch); thence north-westerly up the middle of that river
and Taylors Stream to a point in line with the middle of
the road forming the south-eastern boundary of Rural Section
34145; thence north-easterly generally to and along the middle
of that road and its production to and along the middle of
Alford Forest Cemetery Road to a point in line with the
middle of Earlys Road; thence north-easterly to and along
the middle of that road to the middle of Forks Road; thence
northerly along the middle of that road to a point in line
with the south-eastern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 6237; thence
