Appointment of Rangitikei-Wanganui Catchment Board to Control and Manage a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints the Rangitikei-Wanganui Catchment Board to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule hereto subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve for soil conservation and river control purposes.

PURSUANT to the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, the Minister of Health hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Whangamata Cemetery Closing Notice 1974.

2. It is hereby directed that the Whangamata Cemetery, being the piece of land described in the Schedule hereto, shall be closed and burials therein discontinued after the 31st day of October 1974.

3. As from the 31st day of October 1974, the control and management of the closed Whangamata Cemetery shall vest in the Thames County Council.

3. As from the 31st day of October 1974 the control and management of the closed Inangahua Junction Cemetery shall vest in the Inangahua County Council.
