Notice Temporarily Exempting the Whangarei Abattoir From
the Provisions of Regulation 92 (2), Meat Regulations 1969
(No. 699 Ag. 20002A)

PURSUANT to regulation 267 of the Meat Regulations 1969,
the Whangarei Abattoir (Registered No. AB29) is hereby
declared to be exempt, during the period of construction
of its new abattoir, from the provisions of regulation 92 (2)
of the said regulations, with regard to the sticking, bleed
ing, flaying, and dressing of cattle in the abattoir, provided
that the procedures adopted will be performed in such a
manner as to prevent contamination of the carcass, head,
and edible offals, to the satisfaction of the Director of
the Meat Division of the Ministry of Agriculture and
Fisheries.
