ORDER

1.(1) This order may be cited as the Union of Blueskin,
Hawkesbury, Macraes, Palmerston, Silver Peaks, Strath-Taieri,
Taieri Ridge, and Waihemo Pest Destruction Districts Order
1974.

(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of
April 1974.

  1. The boundaries of the Blueskin Pest Destruction District
    (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 28th day
    of April 1964*), the Hawkesbury Pest Destruction District
    (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 3rd day
    of February 1953†), the Macraes Pest Destruction District
    (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 6th day
    of March 1961‡), the Palmerston Pest Destruction District
    (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 16th day
    of August 1961§), the Silver Peaks Pest Destruction District
    (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 25th day
    of January 1951∥), the Strath-Taieri Pest Destruction District
    (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 27th day
    of August 1960¶), the Taieri Ridge Pest Destruction District
    (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 15th day
    of September 1948**), and the Waihemo Pest Destruction District
    (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 16th day
    of July 1958††) are hereby declared united to form one district
    to be called the East Otago Pest Destruction District, the boundaries
    of which shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

  2. The basis on which the Board for the said District shall
    first levy its general rate shall be the acreage of the land
    occupied by the ratepayer.

BOUNDARIES OF EAST OTAGO PEST DESTRUCTION DISTRICT

THE boundaries of the East Otago Pest Destruction District
shall be that area of land contained in the following districts.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 25th day
of March 1974

Present:

THE HON. H. WATT PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
makes the following order.

ORDER

1.(1) This order may be cited as the Union of Clinton,
Clifton, South Clutha, North Clutha, Kuriwao, Waipahi,
Clydevale, and Owaka Pest Destruction Districts Order 1974.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of
April 1974.

  1. The boundaries of the Clinton Pest Destruction District
    (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 28th day
    of March 1956*), the Clifton Pest Destruction District (which
    was constituted by Order in Council on the 24th day of
    August 1954†), the South Clutha Pest Destruction District
    (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 30th day
    of June 1954‡), the North Clutha Pest Destruction District
    (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 1st day
    of October 1958§), the Kuriwao Pest Destruction District
    (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 6th day
    of November 1961∥), the Waipahi Pest Destruction District
    (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 2nd day
    of November 1955¶), the Clydevale Pest Destruction District
    (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 30th day
    of May 1956**) and the Owaka Pest Destruction District
    (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 30th day
    of April 1963††), are hereby declared united to form one
    district to be called the South Otago Pest Destruction District,
    the boundaries of which shall be those specified in the
    Schedule hereto.

  2. The basis on which the Board for the said District shall
    first levy its general rate shall be the acreage of the land
    occupied by the ratepayer.
