Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil conservation and river control purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 24th day of January 1974.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 14 (3) of the Maori Land Amendment and Maori Land Claims Adjustment Act 1926, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as follows:
1.The public right of way over the land described in the Schedule hereto extends from the margin of Lake Taupo to the limit delineated on the plans in the Schedule hereto.
2.This Proclamation shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

Waipahihi Limited to all that piece of Waipahihi C75 Block (ML 13990), situated in Block 11, Tauhara Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the north-western boundary of Waipahihi C75 Block and proceeding to its north-eastern boundary, thence south to the southern boundary of Waipahihi C1 Block, thence westwards along an extension of that boundary to a point 4 metres distant therefrom, thence generally southerly by a line parallel to, and 4 metres distant from, the eastern boundary of Waipahihi C75 Block, to No. 1 State Highway, then southerly along the western side of that highway to a point, 4 metres distant from, and parallel to, the north-eastern boundary of Waipahihi C6A, thence generally westerly and southerly along a line 4 metres distant from, and parallel to, the eastern boundary of Waipahihi C75 Block to No. 1 State Highway, thence generally southerly, westerly, and northerly along the boundary of Waipahihi C75 Block to the point of commencement.
