Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road
It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution
dated 20 February 1974, and pursuant to section 4 of the
Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that
part of No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton to Woodville via
New Plymouth) from its junction with Otaraoa Road to
its junction with Elliot Road adjacent to Waitara Borough
boundary, as more particularly shown on sheet 1 of plan
M.O.W. 35374 and the accompanying schedule held in the
office of the resident engineer, Ministry of Works and
Development, New Plymouth, and there available for public
inspection, to be a limited access road.

Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road
It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution
dated 20 February 1974, and pursuant to section 4 of the
Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that
part of No. 5 State Highway (Tirau to Napier) from its
junction with No. 30 State Highway for a distance of
1³/₄ miles to the boundary between Pt. Block 6S1 and Pt.
Block 6S2B of Pt. 4A Rotomahana Parekarangi Block, as
more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 5 of plan M.O.W.
35834 and the accompanying schedule held in the office
of the resident engineer, Ministry of Works and Development,
Rotorua, and there available for public inspection, to be
a limited access road.

dated 20 February 1974, and pursuant to section 4 of the
Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that
part of No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton to Woodville via
New Plymouth) from its junction with McAndrew Street
at Kihikihi to its junction with Te Kawa Road, as more
particularly shown on sheets 1 to 7 of plan M.O.W. 35833
and the accompanying schedule held in the office of the
resident engineer, Ministry of Works and Development,
Hamilton, and there available for public inspection, to be
a limited access road.

part of No. 8 State Highway (Timaru to Milton via Crom-
well) from the Mackenzie County boundary at Cave to
its junction with Gray Street at Fairlie, as more particularly
shown on sheets 1 to 6 of plan M.O.W. 35835 and the
accompanying schedule held in the office of the resident
engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Timaru, and
there available for public inspection, to be a limited access
road.

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution
dated 20 February 1974, and pursuant to section 4 of the
Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part
of No. 57A State Highway (Palmerston North to Manawatu
Gorge) from its junction with Forest Hill Road to the
Kairanga County boundary and from its junction with
Gardeners Road to its junction with No. 3 State Highway,
as more particularly shown on sheets 1 and 2 of plan
M.O.W. 35871 and the accompanying schedule held in the
office of the resident engineer, Ministry of Works and
Development, Palmerston North, and there available for
public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Varying Notice of Declaration of State Highways
Pursuant to section 11 of the National Roads Act 1953,
the National Roads Board, acting with the written approval
of the Minister of Works and Development, hereby gives
notice that it varies the notice declaring public highways
to be State highways, dated 9 March 1960, published in
the Gazette, 24 March 1960, Vol. I, p. 384, by deleting
from the Schedule to the said notice the paragraphs described
in the First Schedule hereto, and substituting therefor the
paragraphs set out in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE

Paragraphs deleted from South Island section of Part I
of the Schedule to the said notice:
No. 60 State Highway (Richmond-Collingwood).
No. 61 State Highway (Motueka-Motupiko). -
Paragraph deleted from South Island section of Part II
of the Schedule to the said notice:
Motueka - No. 60 State Highway.
SECOND SCHEDULE
- Paragraphs substituted in the South Island section of
Part I of the Schedule to the said notice:
No. 60 State Highway (Richmond-Collingwood): commencing
at its junction with No. 6 State Highway at the
Three Brothers Corner, Richmond, and proceeding in a
westerly direction to Collingwood via the Appleby Bridge,
Ruby Bay, Tasman, Motueka, Riwaka, Takaka Hill, Upper
Takaka, Lindsays Bridge, Takaka, Waitapu Bridge, Parapara
Bridge, and terminating at Collingwood Post Office.
No. 61 State Highway (Motueka-Motupiko): commencing
in Motueka at the intersection of King Edward and High
Streets and proceeding thence in a southerly direction to
Motupiko via Pangatotara, Ngatimoti, Woodstock, Stanley
Brook, Tapawera, and terminating at its junction with No. 6
State Highway.
