EAST COAST BAYS BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the East Coast Bays Borough Council proposes under the provisions of the above-named Acts to execute a certain public work, namely, to construct and layout part of a community recreation hall on the property at 12 Bute Road, Browns Bay, in the Borough of East Coast Bays and for the purposes of such public work all of the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. A plan of the land so required is deposited in the Council Offices at Glen Road, Browns Bay, Auckland, where it is open for inspection during ordinary office hours. All persons directly affected by the taking of such land who have any objections to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and send the written objection within 40 days after the first publication of the notice to the Secretary, the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, P.O. Box 12-244, Wellington North. If any such objection is made, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing one (1) rood and one (1) perch, more or less, being Lot 43, Block two (II), Deposited Plan 10801, and being part Allotment 189, Parish of Takapuna, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 359, folio 246 (North Auckland Registry), situated in Block IV, Waitemata Survey District.

NELSON CITY COUNCIL

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928:

Notice is hereby given that the Nelson City Council proposes under the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work, namely, to provide a parking place and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto situated at the rear of No. 86 Bridge Street and No. 209 Hardy Street, in the City of Nelson, are required to be taken, and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council situate in Trafalgar Street, Nelson, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons directly affected by the proposal who wish to make any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, must state their objections in writing and send same within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, P.O. Box 12-244, Wellington North. A public hearing of any such objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

  1. All that parcel containing three hundred and sixteen square metres (316 m²), more or less, being part Section 169, City of Nelson, and part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 20, folio 48, Nelson Registry, as shown on S.O. Plan 11775 and thereon marked "A".

  2. All that parcel of land containing one hundred and ninety-five square metres (195 m²), being part of Lot 4, Deposited Plan 6308, City of Nelson, and part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 1B, folio 243, Nelson Registry, shown on S.O. Plan 11775 and thereon marked "B".

All that parcel of land containing one thousand eight hundred and three square metres (1803 m²), being part of Lot 2, Deposited Plan 2700, and all the land in Deposited Plan 4380, City of Nelson, and part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 68, folio 285, Nelson Registry, shown on S.O. Plan 11789 and thereon marked "B".

KIWITEA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan No. 4, 1973-$75,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kiwitea County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) authorised to be raised by the Kiwitea County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purposes of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Kiwitea County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.105749c in the dollar on the rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the County of Kiwitea, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Notice is hereby given that the Antidote Division, No. 118 of the Sons and Daughters of Temperance, New Zealand, Register No. 118, held at Dunedin, is dissolved by instrument registered at this office this 27th day of February 1974, unless, within 3 months from the date of the Gazette in which the advertisement appears, proceedings be commenced by a member or other person interested in or having a claim on the funds of the society to set aside such dissolution, and the same be set aside accordingly.
