Declaration That Part of the Outram Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve, Change of Purpose of the Reserve and Vesting in the Taieri County Council

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Outram Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, and further, pursuant to the said Act changes the purpose of the said reserve from a reserve for recreation purposes to a reserve for public pound purposes and vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Taieri, in trust, for purposes of a public pound.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Thames County) Notice No. 3, 1974.

2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, to the intent that a person driving any motor vehicle thereon at any time during the period commencing with the first day of December in each year and ending with the Tuesday following Easter each year shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of 30 miles-an-hour fixed by the said section.

SITUATED within Thames County at Opoutere.

Opoutere Road: from a point 2300 metres measured easterly generally along the said road from State Highway No. 25 (Waitakaruru-Waihi via Coromandel) to a point 3420 metres measured easterly generally along the said road from the said State Highway.

The Traffic (Temuka Borough and Geraldine County) Notice No. 1, 1974

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Temuka Borough and Geraldine County) Notice No. 1, 1974.

2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The road specified in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

4. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

5. The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 dated the 31st day of October 1950†, which relates to roads situated within Temuka Borough is hereby revoked.
