Licensing Taupo Borough Council to Occupy a Site for a Sewer Outfall in the Waikato River at Taupo
PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Grant Stewart Ellis Milne, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license and permit the Taupo Borough Council (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the bed of the Waikato River as shown on plan marked M.D. 15013 and M.D. 15428, and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a sewer outfall as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of December 1974.
(3) The annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be ten cents (10c) payable on demand; provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.

Varying Notice of State Highways
PURSUANT to section 11 of the National Roads Act 1953, the National Roads Board, acting with the written approval of the Minister of Works and Development, hereby gives notice that it varies the notice declaring public highways to be State highways, dated 9 March 1960, published in the Gazette, 24 March 1960, Vol. I, p. 384, by deleting from the Schedule to the said notice the paragraph described in the First Schedule hereto, and substituting therefor the paragraph set out in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
PARAGRAPH deleted from South Island section of Part II of the Schedule to the said notice:
Richmond—No. 6 State Highway.
SECOND SCHEDULE
PARAGRAPH substituted in the South Island section of Part II of the Schedule to the said notice:
Richmond—No. 6 State Highway: From the northern boundary of the Borough of Richmond along Champion Road, Richmond Deviation, and Gladstone Road to the southern boundary of the Borough of Richmond.

The Standards Act 1965—Overseas Specification Available for Comment
PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the under-mentioned specification is being considered for declaration as a New Zealand standard specification:
Number and Title of Specification
ISO 2631-1974 Guide for the evaluation of human exposure to whole-body vibration.
All persons who may be affected by this specification and who desire to comment thereon may, on application, obtain a copy on loan from the Standards Association of New Zealand, World Trade Center, 15-23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington 1.
Requests should specify that copies are required for comment purposes.
The closing date for the receipt of comment is 31 January 1975.
