PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Whangarei 1974, No. 44.

The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Licensing John Hector McIntosh to Occupy a Site for a Boat Mooring at Motunau River
PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Grant Stewart Ellis Milne of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license and permit John Hector McIntosh (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors, or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Motunau River as shown on plan marked M.D. 12495 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a boat mooring as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the schedule hereto. The licence of 3 December 1971* authorising Russell Evan Turner to occupy a site for a boat mooring is hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The term of the licence shall be 1 year from the 1st day of November 1974.
(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be twenty dollars ($20) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be ten dollars ($10); provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.

Licensing Anthony Gardiner to Occupy a site for an Artificial Reef Between Adele Island and Observation Beach at Astrolabe Roadstead, Tasman Bay
PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Peter Edward Muers of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license and permit Anthony Gardiner (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the bed of the sea between Adele Island and Observation Beach at Astrolabe Roadstead, Tasman Bay, as shown on plan marked M.D. 15445 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon an artificial reef as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
