Exemption from Equipment and Inspection Requirements

PURSUANT to the Traffic Regulations 1956, the Minister of Transport hereby exempts from the application of regulations 42 to 48 and 50 to 53 of the said regulations the following machinery:

Tractor mounted sleeper tamper owned by the New Zealand Railways.

The Traffic (Franklin County) Notice No. 1, 1974

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Franklin County) Notice No. 1, 1974.

  2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

  3. The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949 and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 11th day of February 1963†, which relates to No. 22 State Highway situated at Paerata within Franklin County is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Franklin County at Paerata:

No. 22 State Highway (Runciman-Tuakau) from a point 40 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said State highway from Tuhimata Road to a point 1080 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said State highway from the said road.

The Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1974, Amendment No. 1

PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act 1947, the Minister of Trade and Industry hereby gives the following notice:

  1. This notice may be cited as the Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1974, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with, and deemed to be part of the Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1974 (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).

  2. This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.

  3. The principal notice is hereby amended by omitting from the part of the Schedule headed "Services", the item "Bank charges (being charges made by trading banks in respect of current accounts)".

Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 34) 1974

PURSUANT to regulation 17 of the Import Control Regulations 1973*, the Minister of Trade and Industry hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 34) 1974.
    (b) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

  2. Goods of the classes specified and for the purposes of the Customs Tariff falling within the Tariff items in the Schedule hereto, imported from and being the produce or manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations.
