"thirdly, all that area in South Auckland Land District, County of Taupo, bounded by a line commencing at Pokapoka Trig. in Block XIII, Kaingaroa Survey District, and proceeding north-westerly along the south-western boundary of part Run 57 (State Forest: Gazette, 1933, p. 1671), to and northerly along the eastern side of Goudie's Road to its intersection with a right line joining Trig. Station 31 (Paeroa), situated in Block V, Paeroa Survey District, and Trig. Station 76A (Tawhiwhau), in Block XIV, Galatea Survey District; thence easterly along that right line to its intersection with a right line produced southerly joining Trig. Station 18 (Maungawhakamana), in Block III, Ruawahia Survey District, and Trig. Station 38 (Ahiwhakamura), in Block X, Kaingaroa Survey District; thence along another right line to Trig. Station 78 (Pekepeke), in Block III, Wheao Survey District; thence southerly generally along a right line to Trig. Station 76 (Taupiri) in Block XII, Wheao Survey District, and another right line to Trig. Station F (Tiritiri) in Block III, Heruiwi Survey District; thence along another right line in the direction of Trig. Station B (Pukeroa), in Block XI, Heruiwi Survey District, to its intersection with the northern boundary of Block VII, Heruiwi Survey District; thence westerly along the northern boundaries of the aforesaid Block VII and Blocks VI and V, Heruiwi Survey District, the northern boundary of Block VIII, the eastern and northern boundaries of Block III, and the northern boundary of Block II, the aforesaid blocks being in Otukotara Survey District, to the western boundary of Run 60 (State Forest: Gazette, 1930, p. 2639); thence northerly generally along the aforesaid boundary and the generally western and northern boundaries of Run 59 (State Forest: Gazette, 1927, p. 2692) to the westernmost corner of Kaingaroa 1A South (State Forest: Gazette, 1929, p. 2488); thence along the western boundary of the aforesaid 1A South, to and along the western boundary of Run 58 (State Forest: Gazette, 1926, p. 2153) to Pokapoka Trig. the point of commencement; the said area being more particularly shown outlined by means of a blue dotted line on the plan marked NZED 580 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington."

PURSUANT to section 8 of the Maori Purposes Act 1934, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Henry Ariariterangi Mitchell, Haratua Rogers, Tamati Wharehuia, duly nominated by the Arawa Maori Trust Board, and George Gordon, Edmund William Bragg, Robert James McDowell, Peter Robert Cran, Edward Alexander Marsh, duly nominated by the Tauranga County Council to be members of the Bledisloe Park Board for a term of 3 years from the date of this appointment.

Exempting Land in Nelson Land District from the Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925

PURSUANT to section 171 of the Coal Mines Act 1925, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby exempt the land described in the Schedule hereto from the operation of Part III of the said Act.

NELSON LAND DISTRICTβBULLER COUNTY
All that area of Crown land situated at Marshallvale in Block VI, Kawatiri Survey District, as located on S.O. Plan 10575 and being formerly Residence Site Licence Number 12027.
All certificate of title, Volume 1D, folio 356, limited as to parcels: area, 1011 square metres, more or less.
Reserving nevertheless unto the Crown firstly, in terms of section 168A of the Coal Mines Act 1925, all coal existing in its natural condition on or under the surface of the said land, and secondly in terms of section 8 of the Mining Act 1971, every mineral existing in its natural condition on or under the surface of the said land.

Appointment of High Commissioner for New Zealand in Fiji
HIS Excellency the Governor-General in Council has been pleased to appoint Graham Keith Ansell to be High Commissioner for New Zealand in Fiji under and for the purposes of the Foreign Affairs Act 1943, to hold the said office as on and from the 18th day of November 1973 until the 17th day of November 1976.
