Bylaw Prohibiting Pedestrians Using the Vehicular Traffic Bridge on State Highway No. 1 Across Waitahanui Stream, Taupo County
PURSUANT to the National Roads Act 1953 and the Transport Act 1962, the National Roads Board hereby makes the following bylaw:
BYLAW
-
This bylaw may be cited as National Roads Board Bylaw 1974, No. 2.
-
This bylaw shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.

No person going on foot shall walk, stand, or loiter on, or use the vehicular traffic bridge on State Highway No. 1 across Waitahanui Stream, Taupo County.
-
Every person who commits an offence against this bylaw is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $50.
This bylaw was made by resolution duly passed at a meeting of the National Roads Board held in Wellington on the 20th day of November 1974.

National Roads Board Notice Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road
IT is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 20 November 1974 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963 hereby declares that part of No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) fronting Part Lots 4 and 5 of D.P. 2183 (C.T. 9C/1026) and Lot 1 of D.P. 32919 (C.T. 9D/228), as more particularly shown on plan M.O.W. 36440 and accompanying Schedule held at the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Porirua, and there available for public inspection, to be limited access road.

National Roads Board Notice Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road
IT is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 20 November 1974, and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim to Invercargill) from the southern boundary of Nelson City to the northern boundary of Richmond Borough, as more particularly shown on Sheet 1 of plan M.O.W. 35309 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Nelson, and there available for public inspection, to be limited access road.

National Roads Board Notice Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road
IT is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 20 November 1974 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of No. 1 State Highway (Awanui to Bluff) for a distance of 20 feet measured in a southerly direction from the intersection of the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 34019, C.T. 11D/536 with No. 1 State Highway boundary, as more particularly shown on plan M.O.W. 36441 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Porirua, and there available for public inspection, to be limited access road.

Division of South Canterbury Pest Destruction District Into Wards (Notice No. 983 Ag. 20891A)
PURSUANT to section 21 of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, the South Canterbury Pest Destruction Board hereby gives notice that the South Canterbury Pest Destruction District which was constituted by Order in Council on the 25th day of March 1974* is hereby divided into wards, the names and boundaries of which are specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
NORTHERN WARD
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Geraldine, and Ashburton Counties, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Rangitata River in line with the northern boundary of Reserve 3796 in Block II, Orari Survey District, and proceeding westerly to and along that boundary and southerly along the western boundary of that reserve to the southern boundary of Run 3; thence westerly and northerly along the southern and western boundaries of that run and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the southern boundary of Rural Section 36720; thence north-westerly generally along the south-western boundaries of that rural section and Runs 251, 303, and 297 to the westernmost corner of the last-mentioned run; thence westerly generally along the generally southern boundaries of Runs 302 and 241 and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the south-eastern corner of Run 110A; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of Run 110A to the summit of the Two Thumb Range; thence northerly generally along the summit of that range to its intersection with the Main Divide at McClure Peak; thence north-easterly generally along the summit of the Main Divide to Sceptre Peak in Block I, Torlesse Survey District; thence due south to the western side of the Havelock Glacier; thence southerly and easterly generally along the western and generally southern sides of that glacier to the middle of the Havelock River; thence south-easterly generally down the middle of that river and the Rangitata River to the point of commencement.
WESTERN WARD
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Mackenzie, Waimate, Levels, and Geraldine Counties, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Rangitata Gorge Road, in line with the northern boundary of Reserve 3796 in Block II, Orari Survey District, and proceeding southerly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the southern boundary of Reserve 3899; thence westerly to and along that boundary to the south-western corner of that reserve; thence north-westerly along a right line to the south-eastern corner of Reserve 3797; thence westerly generally along the southern boundary of Reserve 3797, the western and southern boundaries of Reserve 4218, the southern and western boundaries of Reserve 3797, the southern and western boundaries of Reserve 4202, and the southern boundary of Reserve 4203 to the eastern boundary of Reserve 4019; thence southerly along that boundary to the southern boundary of Lot 13, D.P. 4098; thence easterly and southerly along that boundary and the eastern boundary of Reserve 2276 and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of Blandswood Road; thence westerly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the western boundary of Rural Section 7159; thence southerly to and along that boundary and southerly generally along the northern and western boundaries of Rural Section 6594 to the southernmost corner of that section; thence south-easterly along a right line to
